I had an errand in Boca - a ways from home and I searched for highly rated consignment shops. I'm SO glad I stopped in! What an ADORABLE place! Presentation is everything - and this store knows that well - unique finds beautifully displayed! I will certainly be back!!

Perfectly Imperfect Consignment was opened in September of 2011 by Jennifer Gaffey who is previously from Massachusetts. The store recently expanded and you can find it in northern Boca Raton on Federal Highway. If you visit the store you may run into greeter and head of security, Yorkshire Terrier, Madigan. The store is charming. I love they way Jennifer has arranged all of the furniture and home goods over the two rooms so you can get an idea of how to make it work in your own space. They also sell accessories including handbags, jewelry, and scarves. There is a little of anything. Some of the things that caught my eye were the chrome bubble mirror from the 1950's, vintage Pyrex, a painted kitchen cart, a flamingo serving tray, and a hanging swing chair, cat sized. They also had art, ceramics, and all kinds of decorative items. There was even a sale corner but I found even the regular prices to be very reasonable. There is something for everyone's budget. I had a lot of fun exploring the store and will make a point to stop back to check out the changing inventory.

After speaking with another consignment shop closer to my location that I was not impressed with over the phone, I then reached out to Perfectly Imperfect via email. Jennifer, the owner, answered me timely and I went into the store a few days later for the first time. Jennifer has a clean, nicely laid out store with a wide variety of household items and furniture. The windows were decorated for the holidays and also seasonal items for sale throughout the store. My main purpose was to drop off an item to sell, but of course I shopped while waiting for Jennifer to finish with another customer. Wouldn't ya know, I found something I couldn't live without! Although my glass item was wrapped with paper, unfortunately when I got home to show off my treasure, one out of two pieces in the set was broken. When I returned to the store the next day, Jennifer was apologetic, kind and understanding to work on a fair settlement for me to keep the unbroken part of the set. My first experience at Perfectly Imperfect was not "perfect" and could have been a disaster were it not for a considerate business owner. I will definitely be returning to do further consigning and shopping at Perfectly Imperfect and would recommend you do as well.
