I am a customer of ********************** and I only have positive experiences. Great workout, great coaches, knowledgeable staff. Now there are some things you have to know:- you have to cancel 8 hrs ahead if you want a free cancellation of your class. They do it so another member can use your spot. It is not the same when they have to swap coaches last moment as someone is sick, stuck in traffic, for example. They do it for the members. I read reviews here that complains about it.- cancellation: when you cancel your membership, you have another month to use and pay. This is very clear from the beginning. You sign that in your contract. When I read the reviews, most of the 1-star reviews blaming OTF for their OWN mistakes. Someone did not check her credit card for 1.5 years. Someone cancelled her membership 1 day into a new period. People: be responsible. Don't blame OTF for your own bad actions. 8-hr cancellation window and 1 extra month after you cancel your membership. Very easy. But you have to do it yourself, nobody will do it for you. Rules are clear. (This is not ******* so you can return anything for free, even food that goes to waste after...) Clubs can differ from each other, but these rules are valid for all clubs.

I recently signed up for Orange theory and its been great! The wlrkouts really push you and i love the heart rate tracking. Im very competative apparently because seeing my name on the screen and it not being in the orange zone really pushes me...they also have a bunch of events going on all the time which are fun little competitions that are fun to do. I won a shirt! And its enough to make me want to keep going and trying as hard as i can. On top of that the staff is super nice and professional. Ive made a bunch of friends and that helps me to keep coming back. Overall ive had a lot more fun here than i have at other gyms.

Change your music in your YouTube ads for the love of god. Why is it so loud and high pitched. Most annoying ad I have ever seen. I mean even if I was looking for a gym I would not consider your organization just because of how offensive your ad is. Scares humans, dogs, cats, and the whole neighborhood when it comes on. It is literally 2x louder than any content that is being watched..Should have a hearing damage warning before it starts.

Not only did I encounter poor customer service and front desk behavior at ORANGE THEORY FITNESS, but their resolution to the issue was also unsatisfactory. Despite the disappointing experience, all they did was refund me without even offering a sincere apology for their behavior. This lack of accountability further highlights their disregard for customer satisfaction and reinforces my decision to reconsider my association with their fitness center. I hope they take feedback seriously and make necessary changes to ensure better experiences for their customers in the future.Location: kirkland, Washington

I have been a member with OTF for the past 2 years. My overall experience with the coaches have been well. They’re encouraging, engaging and I found most of the workouts beneficial. My issue is how the company is ran and the poor customer service I’ve received at 2 OTF locations. At these 2 locations, certain membership costs were not well explained to me and I ended up paying either more than I expected and for a perk that my premier membership should have covered. I am still waiting for a call back concerning a refund but I feel like my concerns have not been honored. The poor customer service has greatly cheapened the OTF experience; it is not worth the price members are being charged, especially for the continually inflation. There seems to be a heavy rotation of managers at these 2 OTF locations, which brings new “promises” that I hold very little confidence in. I really just want my money back that should’ve never been taken in the first place, as was promised. I look forward to my membership ending this month and moving on.

The music is too loud and damages hearing. I found the place okay and the people friendly. I went at my own pace and felt I benefited from the workout, but I cannot understand why the music is played at such a high volume. The science of hearing is well established and any professional would tell them that that the volume level is damaging hearing. I find it out-and-out painful. Why not cut the volume in half. I do not find the excessive noise motivating in any way, and will try the class one more time using ear plugs. If that does not help, I will have to quit, just to preserve my hearing.

Customer service is poor, I’ve been a loyal customer and even advocated for OT to others in the past. Today, I showed up to a class 5 minutes late and told I wouldn’t be allowed in. Orange Theory gyms aren’t on every corner, they take time to get to, anyone who understands what being human is gets this and that sometimes life happens that puts you 5 minutes behind…to turn a loyal client away from a paid class that takes no addition effort to allow in the door because of one time being late is an atrocity. Being charged for it is borderline unethical, have some level of compassion and build a community not a money grab Orange Theory…

I am very disappointed with OTF. I’ve been going there for about a year and a half and loved it but with these economic times I had to freeze my membership. After about a month I decided to cancel it. I spoke to Emma at OTF West Delray Florida the studio I went to and explained to her that I needed to cancel my membership. She said the policy is it takes 30 days to cancel but will make it so I won’t get charged. I froze my membership on the 23rd of the month. She said she would cancel the membership for me but can’t guarantee I won’t get charged. Well today I get an email saying I was charged for my membership but it didn’t go through because I lost my debit card and had to cancel it. I told her during our phone call that I would go there in a few days to fill out the cancellation form she said ok no rush. I called today to find out why I was charged today and she said it’s policy when coming off a freeze that I will be charged. She never told me that and would I want to take care of that payment today. I said to her no I can’t afford it what doesn’t she understand?? I sold my car because I couldn’t afford it. This is insane how do they treat their members like this. They seem so nice when your a member but it’s all phony they are cold hearted and don’t care about anyone. I wanted to return to OTF at some point but now forget it. I workout on my own at my gym in my clubhouse to the workouts I find on Reddit and am getting higher HR and Splat points I will never ever return. It’s just horrible customer service!!! It’s disheartening!!!!

Orangetheory’s revised heart rate algorithm lacks medical backing! Asking studios or corporate for help is useless! I presented a letter from my cardiologist that medically set my MHR and Orangetheory claims they are incapable of overriding their algorithm that sets a heart rate according to the member’s last 20 workouts. During a recent workout my Orangetheory monitor “read” a HR of 213, which was grossly inaccurate, setting my MHR even higher. In my opinion, Orangetheory is willful and neglectful with their algorithm and their inability to figure out a fix. This says they don’t care about members’ health. Orangetheory deserves any future lawsuit for its egregious choices and lack of care for its members — especially when coaches push you to work harder because you’re in the blue or green!
