This is a shady broker service that subcontracts to equally shady local movers. Hard to believe companies like this still are around in 2023. Their business model is basically providing a reasonable quote online, collecting a 40-50% deposit, then when their subcontractor shows up (one day late in my case) they work together to try to pressure you into paying double what they quoted. They'll spend some time trying to renegotiate and will mention several times that you'll never get your deposit back and they're new quote is actually a great deal. My new quote happened to be double what I ended up paying another mover after sending National Moving Group packing! Then, if you enjoy a good headache, call up their customer service line and talk to Kris Bayne. Argumentative, snarky, unhelpful - Kris truly checks all the boxes for customer service.Of course this company goes by several different names National Moving Group, AmeriSafe Moving Services, etc. If the address is 4731 W Atlantic ave, it's all the same company, and you can expect the same shakedown I experienced.

If you want your goods to arrive broken or damaged, this is the moving company for you. If you want some of your personal items stolen from the truck....This is the moving company for you. Between the four companies / trucks that our stuff got bounced around to, the movers / warehouse guys actually opened some of our sealed boxes, stole what they wanted and re-taped them back up !!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!! This company will sell your move to the lowest bidder who is actually going to finally deliver your stuff broken. They also keep changing their name....ALWAYS ask for the moving companies D.O.T #......ALWAYS. Now they go by AmeriSafe Moving! In 3 months it will be The Bozo Moving Company. STAY AWAY.

Do not use this company. They misrepresent the pick up time, the number of packers, the delivery time, and the price.

National Moving Services Inc is a BROKER and they lie! Chris Munro their agent lied to me about NOT being a BROKER! I asked him a few times and I told him I DID NOT WANT A BROKER! He told me they weren't. Chris asked me if I had another estimate and I told him yes from Nationwide and he went off their estimate and told me including taking special care of my antique grandfather clock and this box I made in high school that my move wouldn't be anymore then $11,788.00. He told me he would be with me during my move. Chris said I had to pay $5,525.00 to secure my moving date. I would pay $6,263.00 when the movers showed up in Ocala, Fl. Chris told me the movers would call me when they were an hour out on moving day. NO CALL! The next thing I know this big white truck pulls up! It's not National it's Seven Generation Moving and Storage. I was told I had to pay them $9,360.99. It was moving day! I had to pay them with a cashiers check too or they were leaving! I was lied to and swindled and scammed! I didn't get all my stuff and there was a lot of damage! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU WILL BE SORRY! Melanie the witch in the office told me too bad!! I would never get any money back. So they made $5,525.00 for sending me another moving company. DO NOT USE THEM! They are thieves ! How dare a company do this to a person on moving day as if moving isn't stressful enough! Would NOT recommend this company. you would be better off moving yourself. you will get a low quote to get you - then you will be charged at least double. they contract your move out and have zero accountability once they take your money. your cost will DOUBLE. we provided a room by room detailed listing with measurements of everything prior to our move. the movers showed up with a small truck 3-4 hours later than scheduled. they actually had to call for an additional truck through UHaul. the movers had to work overnight in our house because we were closing the next morning. we were told our items would be put in storage but they couldn't tell us where for "security reasons"! this was our stuff but we could not know where it was being stored. we placed several calls to National and they and the people they contracted us out to said we were being unreasonable. they are the most unprofessional business we have ever dealt with. when our items did arrive the number of crushed boxes and missing items was unbelievable. in their eyes, the customer is always wrong and demanding. they kept telling us that we "don't know anything about moving " - we wonder if they know anything about moving. they contracted out to movers that hadn't slept in 24 hours - rather than staff appropriately they created unsafe and cruel working conditions. they were correct in that we do not know how a moving company runs, but based on our experience, neither do they. they showed up at 4:00 with 2 people for a 4 bedroom house move in a 27 foot truck. again, we are not movers but we knew this was not going to work. when the 2 movers called for additional help, after driving two hours, the additional people refused the job saying it was unsafe and should have been day job and should have had about 8 people working. they actually left. then they called people in from NY who arrived at 10:30 pm!!!!

I really wish zero stars was an option. Working with this company has been a nightmare, to put it lightly. There were multiple aspects of my grandmother's move that were changed the day of pick up that was not discussed in the initial consultation. The time frame in the signed contract was 2-14 days from the first available delivery date, but when we called the movers that National Moving Group had contracted for this job (Cobra Van Lines) for an update regarding delivery, they informed us that it could take over a month. We then called National Moving Group to get clarification on the situation and whoever we spoke to was incredibly rude and uncouth. He raised his voice at my grandmother, was very unprofessional and said that we were lying in regards to what we were told by Cobra Van Lines. He then told us that they were not comfortable giving us a time frame for delivery in case it doesn't make it within that time frame, yet we have a time frame in the contract. All we wanted was an updated status regarding delivery since they have had my grandmother's things for almost 2 weeks. We understand that things happen and there are certain aspects of this process that are unprecedented and cannot be foreseen, but the communication has just been awful and it appears that neither company is on the same page with the other. Needless to say, we do not recommend working with either of these companies.

Worst moving company ever. DONOT USE THEM!! Fraudulent. Give incorrect estimates. Charged me double of the provided estimate. They sublet orders to smaller companies which are even worse than the primary moving company. I hired them for a move from ARKANSAS to Baltimore, Maryland. Mishandled stuff and broke expensive things. The single driver/ loader / unloaded was rude as hell and used the F words on me! He charged me close to 900$ in long carry expenses for moving a studio stuff .. total cost ended up being close to 4000$!!To make it worse, he picked up a random homeless person from the street and told me this is his helper/ unloaded in Baltimore!!!I had to threaten him that I will call the police on him!!!My worst interstate move experience ever!! Please please please, DONOT book them ever!

ZERO stars! Used this company for a move from Iowa to Virginia. Worst choice I have ever made! They hound you for signatures, add additional expenses, use moving companies that are not responsible with your items (they have lost a 60” tv, air fryer, and 3 boxes) and then will take no responsibility for their hiring of them. Used customer service several times to get things straightened out and they were the rudest, did not want to help, and disrespect you as a customer. I suppose they can do this because they already have your money. There is ZERO respect for your time, your items, or your move experience. What they don’t tell you is that your stuff does not get loaded onto your own truck, and it will not arrive in a timely manner…why…because it gets dropped off at a warehouse. If your sticker falls off your box - which they put on - you will never get it back! We are well over a month from our delivery and no one seems to want to find our lost items! Do you think they would offer a refund of any money…no way. When asked about this to customer service…once again the absolute rudest persons to work customer service. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!

Very frustrating, misleading, and costly moving experience. This company is not a moving company. It is only a broker, which in our case, seemed to collude with a small unprofessional moving company to maximize their revenue through providing a "low ball" quote and charging for "extras" after the furniture pick up process had begun, increasing the total cost by 69%. The promised pick up and delivery times were delayed numerous times for several hours, and there was often no response to calls for status updates. Full payment by credit card was required prior to delivery, since payment at delivery was only allowed by cash or cashiers check, not feasible options for us, and a paper receipt, although promised, was not given. To be fair, I will mention that the delivery was made without missing any items and with little damage, and I did receive an email based receipt.

ZERO stars needs to be an option here. worst decision I have made for a move. booked my move early to ensure a truck was secured. day of move we have a truck confirmation, but later received a call that we his truck was full and they needed to find a different truck. they then called a truck to backtrack to get our items so this was not a happy trucker and rushed the loading and paperwork process. the truck already had someone else's items on it so our concern was that there was no way to identify which items were ours and which were not..except for a sticker that could easily fall off. then the truck did not go to our location of delivery but unloaded to a warehouse (didn't know that was going to happen) and delivered over a week later. they will not unload your items unless you pay up front to do so. well...that was not something I was comfortable with as the service had not been completed yet. and as it is no surprise at this point we did not get all of our items back! 60" tv and 3 boxes are now lost in this warehouse or at someone else's house. tried to speak with national customer service several times and the rudeness of these people was shocking. they had not one care that our items are lost, take zero responsibility for contracting with a poor mover, and since they have your money feel like they can absolutely disrespect you as a customer. oh and not only are we still dealing with trying to get our lost items back, several items were damaged as well. don't worry nobody wants to help or take care of you for any of this because they have your money. funny thing is...when I was first asking about this service they said "ma'am we are not in the business of taking peoples money". really...that is exactly what you did! adding cost, taking no responsibility for the service you contracted on my behalf, and washed your hands of it all when it did not go well.

I hired National Moving group to move from Florida to NYS. They did all the packing. They broke my furniture and several fragile items of worth and lost several boxes, one large box containing expensive business style shoes. When I hired them I was advised I had $5000. in insurance at no cost to me by a woman on her first day on the job. When my possessions arrived, the drivers helper dropped 2 end tables down my stairs, in front of me, one broke beyond repair! They have not provided me with any answers regarding my claim that was 9 months ago! I've not received any written correspondence and the supervisor whom I was advised would call me has not.DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY! AWEFUL! They do NOT care about your possessions and will do whatever possible to avoid paying on a claim! Horrible company!

Don’t hire this company. They are the worst movers out there. They will claim your stuff is insured but it isn’t. They are self insured and will not reimburse my family member for the Furniture they broke (dropped down the stairs) and for the boxes of valuables that have disappeared on the move from Florida to New York. My family has filed a claim that has not been resolved in over 9 months, every phone call to discuss is left unanswered and told every time to leave message & a supervisor will call and they never do.

They moved my stuff alright, lost some of my stuff & they ignored my calls after. Paid too much for the service. Terrible organization. The list of my belongings was a clear carbon copy page. Wow

I was moving from CA to AZ. I hired National Moving Group after a recommendation from my friend. When I called them, they seemed very friendly. I was handed a quote by the rep that seemed reasonable. Their movers arrived right on time to pack up everything. I wasn’t sure how efficient they would be. But they packed up everything very fast with precision. They made the delivery on time and nothing was damaged. All the boxes and furniture arrived safely. It was a very happy relocation with a reliable moving company.
