Very nice facility, plenty of cardio, strength machines and free weights available, benches get pretty crowded with folks doing curls and other non bench activities. Space is a little tight compared to some of the other lifetime gyms and all said this is a great facility.I've got to cut this short I forgot my special towel I'm getting pretty ripe id like to say ripped but I better get back to the hotel.

I'm usually pretty Loyal to Lifetime but have received no responses, so here's the tale of the tape. I'm a Lifetime member who works out at Lifetimes in multiple States including Minnesota flagship and Chanhassen in the corporate HQ. I've never seen one as toxic or dysfunctional as Boca LT before. The dissent from Diamond leading club to dumpster fire with members exiting has been monumental but not without tons of warning over the past 3 years. I've even brought my concerns to management at other Clubs and they were shocked to hear what goes on at the Boca Lifetime. It's also very sad as I've been visiting it since 2011 and watching it go down the tubes is terrible. The weight room equipment is rusty, old, and it all needs to be replaced except 1 Technogym cable machine on the 2nd floor pretty much. The rest is 30-40 years old and might have even belonged to the club that was there before Lifetime took over. It's also filthy. Hair, food, dust and literal layered sweat film everywhere from literally no one adhering to club policy but also lack of janitorial. You have to deep clean any equipment prior to using it. The janitorial has easily been cut to a third of what it was prior to the pandemic and the club is very dirty throughout now. The entire club is in need of a total overhaul, remodeling/updating and increased janitorial services. It's actually the only dirty Lifetime I've ever been in across the entire nation. There's usually a consistent standard of cleanliness you can count on but not at LT Boca. Don't notify anyone of anything that needs attention or you will be met with apathy, passive aggressiveness, or general malaise. The Women's steam room smells like the primate house at the Miami zoo. Other Lifetimes, it smells of eucalyptus. The pool cushions are all stained and old and there's no food or beverage service out there anymore despite being built for it. There's a gaping hole in the back of the upper part of the building as well where birds fly in and out of the weight room area. It's beyond unacceptable and possibly unsafe. It's 100% unsanitary inside and I never thought I would, but in an act of rebellion, I found out the planet fitness actually has nicer, newer, weight equipment and it's much cleaner. I only found that out as the weight room became so bad at lifetime, my husband wanted to join a separate gym just for access to better/cleaner/working weight equipment. That's absurd when you're paying over $350 month for an athletic club membership. My husband now refuses to work out at Lifetime Boca at all because he would notify staff of broken equipment or issues in the men's Locker room and would simply be ignored. They would also say " We tell the manager all the time ...he doesn't care". That's also just not in-line with the corporate message or the consistency in customer service I have observed throughout the rest of the Lifetimes in other States. The staff in the Salon/Spa are are this property's saving grace or I wouldn't go in at all anymore. We need another luxury gym competitor close by so corporate will take remodeling this club seriously and take some action. If they don't soon, the deferred maintenance could lead to even more costly losses. The water coming out of the fountains tastes awful and the discount gyms even provide filtered water now. Please also post club rules in locker rooms/spa area. I've seen everything from people eating in the hot tub and sauna to an infant being brought in the sauna by a buck-naked Woman. It's a full blown circus. Also, the club could benefit from corporate quality assurance, operations and customer service training to help bring it back up to LT standard. I've truly never seen some of the attitudes especially when addressing members that I've witnessed at Boca club elsewhere. Reading this and thinking of joining? I would wait until they actually remodel the club. Otherwise, they continue to

Come here ONLY for the classes. Ever since February, the AC on the second floor has been iffy towards mid day. Everybody in the classes comment how muggy and warm it is too. When you complain at the front desk, depending who you talk to, you either get brushed off and be like “that’s strange! Haven’t heard of that, I’ll let maintenance know” in a monotone voice. Or, you get “there has been issues with one of our compressors, that’s why it’s hot on the second floor”. It will literally be cooler and dryer outside than on the second floor! For 2 months I’ve been hearing this and it’s unacceptable for this price. I actually restarted my LA fitness membership to workout in the evenings because of the heat. So now I’m paying two memberships because air conditioning is a rare amenity.

Not worth the LT price, I normally go to the one in Palm beach gardens but wanted to visit the Boca one to see what it’s like and was really disappointed. The staff was amazing and friendly but the facility is so outdated it feels like an LA fitness. My main problem was that there was no space to stretch or do your own workouts.

This place sucks. First off, they overcharge everyone it's insane. The first time I came, my roommates and I attempted to purchase the group membership as you must live under the same roof for it to apply. Yet, they refused claiming we need to "grow up" and each of us need to pay the full price. The lady and manager at the front desk treated us with little to no respect and violated the companies own rules. I'm not sure why they would turn away willing to pay customers. It's a very bad look on the ownership of the gym. All I wanted to do was lift and play basketball with my roommates, for a reasonable price (group membership prices). Yet i was met with disrespect and rudeness. I'd give this place 0 stars if I could and I would recommend the owner fires the two at the front desk.

Lifetime used to be a gem of a gym, but has now fallen a lot. It's extremely overpacked, and they moved everything around to squeeze in more weights. The change rooms are smelly, disgusting, and often there are 0 towels available.

I have been a Life Time Boca member since 2021, the gym staff has always been great! The girls up front are gorgeous, Daniel and Dave at the front desk are very friendly, well dressed, and always tend to my needs/requests. The workout classes are cool, I attended some of them, and most of the trainers are nice & attractive.Unfortunately, the gym itself is deteriorating, NOT WORTH $200+ A MONTH & here's why:-Dead cockroaches in the parking garage, old nasty gum ALL over the garage floors, parking garage has NEVER been pressure washed, what is management spending our membership dues on???-NO more exclusivity, I signed up for this gym years ago because it was considered "elite" & only certain groups of ppl were members, but now it seems as though ANYONE and EVERYONE can join-There's an infestation of high school & college kids now, it feels like I'm training at Crunch Fitness, not Lifetime Athletic-"Clean" towels have random permanent stains on them, DISGUSTING, they should be thrown away & brand new ones should be purchased, this gym makes millions of dollars a year!-Equipment is broken and left UNREPAIRED for WEEKS at a time, I remember years ago when equipment would get fixed by the next day-They have NO staff walking around and re-racking weights like they used to when I first joined this gym, we pay nearly $300 a month, again where are our membership dues going? REINVEST IN THE GYM!!!!!!!I have frozen my membership and am most likely going to cancel the entire thing and find a cleaner, newer, nicer gym that fits my standards.LT was nice for a season but now it's getting a little ghetto.#RenovateTheGym #ThisIsNotLuxury #PayTheStaffMoreMoney

I am a lifetime member from Annapolis MD. I called this facility while I was visiting Coral Springs,FL because I could not sign up for a class on my app and wanted to see if they can accommodate me for one day one class. I am about 20 minutes drive from this location and could not go there everyday if I even want to. Most lifetime gyms accommodate other location members even if they are different tier but not this location. The person I spoke to stated that I needed to upgrade and peg the difference in my membership and that’s the only way I can get into the specific class I estén to attend for one day during my visit. I never had this issues at any other lifetime locations, for a fact my husband was at midtown manhattan location last week and was able to attend a class with no issue and the lifetime gym even though was hire their than our gym. No customer service and I would have given 0 stars if I could. This is jot the way to treat lifetime members, we don’t select out gym tier but we at least expect some sore of accommodation.

Nice gym. Good staff. Rude members who must think re racking is included in membershìp. The gym makes no effort make it happen any other way. Email to gym goes unanswered. Comments to desk .... a shrug.

This location received this score for the simple fact that they do not reinvest in their facilities. This is the most outdated and underwhelming LifeTime in the company and I frankly do not understand how corporate allows them to operate as a LifeTime. My entire family and I pay for an Executive Membership that fails to live up to its lofty price. They removed the free monthly car wash, reserved parking spaces and the locker room is frequently under stocked with towels and other hygiene items. If there was a comparable product in the Boca Raton area, I would leave tomorrow and I believe LifeTime knows there is no competition and is not compelled to reinvest into amenities like cold plunges, updated saunas, adequate number of lifting platforms, etc. in order to keep their members happy. The saving grace of this location is the staff. If you frequent this gym, you will see that most of the staff are genuine people that care for their members. BUT if they don’t reinvest into their facilities, their membership base will take a MASSIVE hit as soon as a competitor enters the area. Update the locker rooms, install a cold plunge, update the sauna/steam rooms, have more than two squat racks and three flat benches and fix equipment in an orderly fashion.

I just recently moved to Delray and am looking to join a new gym. Got a guest pass online and unfortunately it expired, completely my fault, but with the holidays and traveling I just wasn’t able to make it in. So I tried today, told them my guest pass expired, and they wouldn’t let me try out the gym unless I spent $150 on a membership. They would not let me even TOUR the gym before committing to the membership because they were too “busy” at that moment. They also declined my offer to pay for a guest pass out of pocket. Very disappointed at the customer service here. They had a willing customer at the front desk who was genuinely curious in a membership, and the situation was handled horribly. Will not be going back.

Came to this location to get a tour of the gym. I waited 30 minutes after signing in. Nobody told me they were running late or that someone would be with me. I told the front desk that I was cancelling my tour and they said they had no idea I was waiting. This is not the service expected, I got my better service at Youfit for 5% of the monthly fee. I promptly left.

I have been to at least 35 different lifetimes all over the country and just started personal training at one of the Chicago locations. I can confidently say that the boca location is the most crowded, outdated, and poorly managed. Not only that, but you will have to deal with cranky retired elderly people complaining every corner you turn. Also, I had witnessed what sounded like 2 men part taking in extremely loud intercourse in the locker room showers right before close. Worth mentioning, just in case you’d like to avoid that scene. Lifetime keeps deleting all reviews regarding the inappropriate shower action, but I really feel people should know that’s what they are signing up for before they pay $200+ to witness such a thing…
