They have a great selection in the store, however, most everything in there is priced higher than you can buy it elsewhere, and the costume jewelry is priced absolutely insane, I know the difference between expensive and overpriced and this is the latter.

I have to agree with the review below. There was a lot of very cute stuff, but it was so over priced! This new trend, where at thrift shops are jacking up the prices to try to trick you with these 50% off sales is ridiculous. They had a “vintage “ necklace that I looked at for $649, the same one was on Etsy for $310 by the same designer. $250 for a ratty Prada back that looked like it was found on the side of the street after being run over and left in the sun. It’s a huge turn off from the store. However, there were cute knickknacks, and things that did seem to be reasonably priced. So I gave it three stars. I might go back, but it would not be to look for any kind of clothing, shoes, or purses.

Friendly employees and interesting selection but the prices, even with store specials, are incredibly high for a thrift store. Many items were full retail price for what these things would cost brand new. Others, even after in-store specials, were even more than retail for those kinds of items. I’ve been to thrift boutiques before but the prices are usually a lot lower. Employees were nice but I didn’t find anything to take home because the pricing was so high.

I love this place! If you are a jewelry addict like myself this is where you want to go. There’s something for everyone. Fine jewelry ( gold and silver)and costume jewelry; all at a great price plus you’re helping a good cause. Not into jewelry? They have sculptures, glass, pottery; interior designer quality.

Amazing treasures at more than reasonable prices, the ladies working are awesome and have great attitudes, Rochelle is always so kind every time I call, and Connie always goes out of her way to help me while shopping in the store! She takes her time pulling out pieces of jewelry from the display which can take me an hour to look through, at most other thrift shops the employees make you feel like you are an inconvenience for asking to see the display jewelry so I am extremely grateful to always have such a good experience when shopping here ?This is a must stop in for any fellow treasure hunters! 5 stars

This is a thrift store located in the Village Pointe Shopping Center in Boca Raton. La Lu is part of a chain of thrift stores that was started in 1985. The chain includes Community Thrift in Hialeah, a store in North Miami and Boca Raton, and another La Lu Boutique in Margate. The Community Thrift stores offer their higher end items at the La Lu boutiques but items are still much less than you would pay at retail. They have two rooms of inventory. Expect to find furniture, household decorative items, and a lot of brand new costume jewelry. I also saw some signature blue Tiffany boxes. When you get done shopping there is a bagel deli and French cafe a few steps away so you can grab a bite to eat. Cool shopping plaza and cool thrift store. Help the planet by reducing, recycling, and reusing by shopping thrift. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
