Your ReviewWere can i start, Emily and Kenny were truly the stars of mydeal which was very complex to say the least. I was selling and buying aproperty at the same time and the purchasing process was pretty muchseamless due to the work of Emily. She went above and beyond her call ofduty, the sell of my Miami home had a lot of issues and delays, whichin the norm should of delayed my purchase even more, but due to Emily’sknowledge and will it got done simultaneously. She is truly an asset toFreedom Mortgage, and its because of people like her that your companywill continue to succeed. Thank you to Freedom Mortgage now we live inour dream home.

By far the absolute worst mortgage company to deal with. We are 5 months in on an assumable mortgage and they keep inventing excuses why they need another document and another 2 months of time. By all means, go to another mortgage lender.

Started the process to refinance my home with buyer using an assumable loan. Told filled out the document giving buyer permission to talk to mortgage company incorrectly a week later. Called freedom and filled out the form and emailed it in to the representative, he said it was fine. Weeks went by and nothing. After sitting on hold for a long time and transferred finally to a wonderful lady on assumptions I was told that we haven’t heard from anyone because the document was filled out incorrectly. Couldn’t believe it!! Filled it out again and emailed it again while on phone and told its correct again. This time it actually was apparently. Then we did a 3 way call with myself, assumptions department and buyer of my house.Months go by, they turned on their documents by mid September. Here we are now, November 10th and the underwriters now want more documents. What does that mean??? After hey get all the documents we go back into the cue with the underwriters took almost 5 full weeks in order to even find out if they are approved to buy my house . Hope I don’t go into default waiting to close on house. Never expected to go from august to January on an assumption.Freedom mortgage has disappointed me tremendously. I very fed up and unhappy.

Jason Schenk was so helpful when I called in to ask about refinancing I was very nervous and had a ton of questions and he was patient and answered them all. During the underwriting process I had the pleasure of working with Lisa Monaco who also patiently answered my questioned, walked me through all the steps and followed up as needed. Both of these two made this experience a true pleasure and I have already told friends and colleagues about my wonderful experience. I will be a lifelong Freedom Mortgage customer.

My husband communicated with Scott Voegle and was very pleased with him. Scott went out of his way to explain things and was more than prompt with answers and getting back to us. He facilitated a smooth process and went above and beyond to help us!!

Everything has gone so smoothly with my move to Florida and finding a new house. From the sale of my Virginia house to awaiting closing on my Florida house, Igor and Michelle have been amazing!

The transaction was very easy. But the cash out for paying off credit cards sucked. I pay all my cards on line then I had to find the addresses for every bank then do a overnight mailing. It was a hassle and I ended up with late fees.

The transfer of servicing of my loan went O.K. but with some slight confusion, But nothing major. It is always good to call back to verify information, and phones work both ways; a call back from Freedom would have made things more acceptable regarding correctness. I am blessed to have a sharp mind at almost 80 years old come next March. A simple call back from Freedom to some of us Seniors goes a long way if you get my meaning, and besides, its good for business....RJBP.S. ID verification is always good to reassure the callback also, with all the nonsense happening on line.

Beyond frustrated. They have held onto my insurance check for over 2 months (end of July), almost 3. I have called numerous times and they continue to say that they have 8-10 days. I explain it has been excessively longer than that. They say they don't start that clock until they have an employee to start working on it. If you are this understaffed, hire people. I have also been told, "you are not the only customer we are working with".How long does it take sign off a check?!All I have to say is rude and no sense of reasonable time-frames. Could not imagine how bad and long an actual loan process would be if they can't even handle signing over insurance checks.

If I could give them a negative number as a rating I would. They purchased my mortgage from the original lender. I wanted pay down the principal balance with a lump sum of $165k and ultimately recast or modify the payment to the remaining balance. In my initial contact with them I told we could do this. One month later as my funds became available ($165k) I was told that it is their policy not allow this type of loan recast or modification. In 3 separate calls to them they bounced back and forth between yes we can do this and then transferred me to another department only to have the rep tell me sorry we can’t do that! They are incredibly inconsistent with their communication, the customer service team was rude, more than one CSR actually raised their voice with me and began talking over me refusing to listen to me.

I wouldn’t let this company finance a dog house for me!!!They sold my loan on Oct 2 2023. They gave us less than two weeks notice. They sent us a notice dated Sept 13, 2023. We have a hurricane Ian loss account that contained my insurance funds. We did everything we could to get that money sent to us prior to Oct 2. The loss department is about as incompetent as can be. I talked to my processor ONE time. No one can call you the customer. You must call them, wait for a callback because getting through is almost impossible. Then the callback person tells you anything they can make up as you beg to speak to a supervisor which will likely not be available. You put in a request for a supervisor callback then wait. That person might callback. If they do you will be given instructions one item at a time. Each item drags the process out creating more and more delays. This is exactly what happened when we were working with “supervisor” Cielo Salgado. We did everything in our power to beat the Oct 2 deadline but since each thing they wanted was communicated one at a time valuable time was lost. Then to add insult to injury they sent us a notice on Oct 8 through their client portal telling us a check was cut. We get our hopes up. The next day in the mail we get a letter requesting the same documents we had already sent them. So now we were confused! We called the new mortgage company JP Morgan. They informed us it will be 30 days before they know the status of our loss account. In the meantime we find out the check that was sent to us will NOT be sent since the loss funds were transferred on Oct 2. We have no clue where our money is. Freedom Mortgage has absolutely no empathy for its customers nor what they have gone through from Hurricane Ian. Avoid them at all costs!

I am very happy with your experience staff who kept me updated thoughout my entire process. Starting with John Partain who guided me through the initial process and then Michael Decourcy took over with his team members to move things along. This kept my mind at ease as I watch the process close smoothly. I really appreciate all the hard work and dedication. Thank you Freedom Mortgage!
