Cole Animal Clinic helped me in a pinch while visiting Boca and being away from my "home vet." The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and above all brought my girl some comfort for her allergy flareup, and even her arthritis! Dr. Foreman thoroughly explained my options for treatments, medications, and followed up with us the following day! This vet clinic is honestly better than my home vet... can you guys move up a few hours?! :) Thanks for taking care of my girl!

Dr. Phillips and the other Vet are cold hearted hacks! This is the second dog that died and the vets treat it with zero empathy!!! Tell everyone that you know to stay away from this facility!!!!!

I'm very torn to write this review. I've been a customer since the late 70s when Patricia Cole was the owner. I notice most of the 5* reviews were written prior to 2022. But times have changed. I have referred several people and their pets over the years, but after a devastating week and loss of my friend's dog, I am unlikely to refer anyone else. Buddicelli Dre was diagnosed with a severe heart condition in December 2023. We knew he would not last much longer but we were encouraged when Dr. Phillips said some dogs can live an additional two years. We followed the medication protocol and all seemed to be going well. We had the doctor listen to his heart after three mos and he said his heart sounded "really good." He told her to bring him back at the six month mark (end of July) for another evaluation. At the beginning of July he began to cough again, and had muscle tremor/twitching in his right rear leg. At that point there was a medication change from the ACE Inhibitor to a calcium channel blocker. First two days were fine, and then he was having what looked like a seizure, but Dr. Phillips thought it might be syncope. He did an EKG. Two days later he called to say Buddicelli had AFIB. He said "this is not fatal." I will prescribe Diltiazam, but I dont have it here, so I will call your pharmacy." CVS would have had the medication ready that evening, but the doctor neglected to put his name on the prescription and CVS needed to contact him. We waited a full 24 hours without this medication while the pharmacy tried to reach him. I called the vet clinic several times the next day beginning at 7:45am. The other vet did not want to get involved for political reasons and because Dr. Phillips neglected to leave notes. Two days later, Buddicelli was not doing well (Sunday night). I texted Dr. Phillips and an hour later he texted to say he was out if town and would be traveling back Monday morning and we should take him to an Emergency hospital. I drove Buddicelli and his "mom" to the emergency clinic. The ER doctor was very good and professional, but she was concerned as to why his vet did not follow the initial recommendation of medication and protocol from the cardiologist back in January. His heart was very enlarged and his heart rate at that point was 180. She increased the Diltiazem. Buddicelli died a week later. My sadness over the death of Buddicelli is immeasurable; as is the pain and expense that his "mom" went through. No one has bothered to call from Cole Clinic to share their condolences. I am heartsick. Since Michael Cole died, there have been several changes within the clinic. I am sad that Dr. Phillips seems to be at a point in his life that the veterinary practice is not his priority. I am angry that the other Dr. is afraid to get in the middle for political reason, while innocent animals are suffering. It is irresponsible to not leave patient notes. It is irresponsible if a doctor is going on holiday or off the premises for any reason to not have coverage by another vet. It is irresponsible and cruel to neglect and abandon those innocent patients whose lives are in your care. Buddicelli trusted me (caretaker) and his mom.....AND WE TRUSTED the doctors at Cole. They abandoned us. I will no longer give referrals to Cole. I think Dr. Phillips should sell the practice to vet who cares. Angry, sad, and disappointed, Donna

DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE! Our Hearts are Broken & Devastated! Please NEVER take your pet to Cole Animal Clinic in Boca Raton Florida Dr. Phillips is the owner and treating veterinarian- The details of neglect and the records that were dilapidated and careless are beyond comprehension! I can not express what the past 2 days were like for my family & Brutus In loving memory of Brutus, a playful and loving seven-month-old puppy whose life was cut short due to the heartbreaking negligence of a local veterinarian in Boca Raton, Florida. Brutus brought pure joy and happiness into the lives of those around him with his wagging tail and playful antics. His innocent eyes held a world of love and trust, making him a cherished member of the family. My husband Vincent's right hand man Tragically, a routine procedure meant to ensure his health and well-being turned into a nightmare of negligence. The veterinarian Dr. Phillips, entrusted with his care failed to handle his case with the diligence and attention it deserved, leading to devastating consequences. Brutus's journey took an unforeseen turn as he was rushed to an emergency facility, his small body fighting for breath on oxygen. Despite the valiant efforts to save him, the shadow of neglect cast a dark cloud over his final moments. He died in our presence after he miraculously stood up for a minute or two and gave Vincent & I so much LOVE! It was truly a magical moment looking back. The loss of Brutus reverberates deeply, leaving a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His memory lingers on, a testament to the impact he had in his short but meaningful life. May his playful barks and gentle soul be forever remembered, and may his story serve as a reminder of the importance of compassion and diligence in the care of our beloved furry companions. Rest in peace, dear Brutus. Thank you to all those who helped and supported our efforts to get him to a place to try and save his life! We are truly disgusted & disturbed by this tragedy. Our love for Brutus is never ending! COLE ANIMAL CLINIC NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN!! Read more reviews!!!!!!

Super happy with this clinic. Linda the front desk person always thinks about things from the pet owners perspective. Which is vital for a front desk person. Either doctor has been good for us for general care.

I have been a long time client of Cole Animal Clinic and can't say enough about everyone that works there. Through the years Dr. Cole and Dr. Phillips have been compassionate, down to earth and always take their time with you. Whether you just got a puppy or kitten or you are saying good-bye to your old furry friend, Cole is there for you as an upstanding veterinary clinic. Julia Reyes

After a beyond terrible experience at another Boca veterinary practice I needed a place to bring my dogs. I've tried just about every place in and around Boca Raton even and decided Cole Animal Clinic was the practice I trusted for my dogs. First the office is spotless. The front end staff are always courteous and friendly. I never feel like I'm getting ripped off here and even though its located in East Boca and is in a nice looking building the prices are always fair. The vet techs are professional and knowledgeable. Doctor Phillips is friendly, professional, patient and knows his business. As I stated, from experience I have been to several vets in Boca and this is my trusted favorite.

My kitten developed an upper respiratory infection and could barely open his eye. Dr. Phillips and his staff were able to evaluate Fireball right before they closed. The following day Fireball was back to his normal crazy self. Dr. Phillips and his staff were amazing! I highly recommend Cole Animal Clinic.

This is not my first time I have dealt with this establishment for medical issues related to my english bulldog. I have always had a great experience with all the staff members of this wonderful , caring clinic. Dr Foreman and assistant Charlotte made sure that my bulldog received the greatest care. Thanks for your quick diagnosis and overall honesty. Leo and Mike Amato

Killed the love of my life . Horrible doc , horrible front desk that don't even acknowledge you walking in with your sick dog . All they care about is getting there money . I payed $ 4,000 for help and Dr.Molly gave my dog a sedative that gave him a heart attack in my hands 7 hours later . Greedy people . I can't believe she is even a true doc .

My dogs love Dr Phillips and the staff at Cole. Dr Phillips has saved my dog who had a huge splenic tumor and a year and a half later is still doing great. Both my dogs know when they go to Cole that they'll be treated wonderfully unlike other past vets they have been to where they would get extremely anxious. The staff at Cole are your team member and it is team effort to keep our fur babies safe and healthy. That means not letting your dog run free on the beach to eat whatever it wants, reading signs when your dog doesn't want to go for a walk or is having tummy aches due to food allergies. I'm so glad to have the Cole Animal clinic staff on my dogs' team.

I've been going to this practice for 6 years after rescuing my Chiw mix someone let loose in a field by a Publix and was found tied to a bench(horrific). My little dog got very sick after walking along the shore line. She may have picked something up bec she didn't drink salt water and I watched everything g she was doing. She was cold and shaking, and vomited bile. They gave her an injection in her leg and wanted to give me something for the vomiting but I already have older meds for that as well as for the leg pain. All good so far. I took her in during hours. They made us wait in the car a little, she wasn't rushed in. Knowing it was going into weekend hours since it was Saturday was the reason for bringing her in right away so she wouldn't need an emergency visit...200 dollars later for a shot. That's it. I expressed that the clinic has changed over past six years and they never used to charge they way they do as I was paying for the visit....NEXT I get a message from Dr Philips saying they will not be seeing my dog anymore bec I questioned their billing. That's horrific considering she's still sick. And now I'm waiting for whatever twisted version they reply with on here of their story. When I said I was posting a review, was when their decision was made. This world has become so unempathetic and money hungry and so has this office.
