It’s impossible to get help! You will waste twelve hours of your day to resolve one issue .

Day 17 without heat. Still don’t know when my system is going to be replaced. Keep leaving messages for my “High Resolution “ Manager, but no updates, even after local sales rep “escalated “. Beyond frustrated.

Our experience with Mr. Evan Fields was perfect. It seems like he was the only one that finally helped. He greeted me on the phone with a soft tone voice, listened about our issues that were not good in the past with other Agents and repair man’s. I believe since October in 2022, Sears have been attempting to fix our refrigerator but failed over 16 attempts. We had many bad experiences with calling Sears and speaking to many different Agents and many different repair man’s coming to our house guessing what the issue was but failing. They were not empathetic to our needs especially when I told the Agents and repair man’s that a lot of my meat got spoiled which we lost money. My spouse and I were over frustrated. Mr. Fields did his research and finally our issue got resolved. He showed us empathy and a willingness to help us. He is an asset to your company. Thank you very much Mr. Fields for your excellent customer service.

I contacted Cinch back on February 15. 2024 for a water heater (WH) replacement and I still don't have hot water. I have to boil water daily as if I'm in the 1800's. They sent out a service company that provided an estimate with charges not covered by Cinch. I'm a license contractor and have installed and paid to have water heaters installed, so I knew all of those additional uncovered charges were unnecessary. The service company is ripping off customers by padding the estimate and inflating a simple 50 gallon water heater (WH) replacement and installation price to a $3000 expense. Ridiculous! I informed Cinch, I don't want this provider at my home anymore and can they send the money to me and I will get a professional to install. According to Cinch, the covered charges on the service company's estimate was $600 for the water heater and $180 for a flat rate charge. I only found this out after calling numerous times getting terrible assistance from customer service, being put on hold to wait for a supervisor only to later get hung up on, and being told someone would call me back and that never happened. After calling a few company's, I couldn't find no one to do a WH replacement/installation for $780. A 50 gallon WH with tax and delivery is more than $600 and the installation price is double or even triple the $180 flat rate charge. I called Cinch back to explain this and got no help. After more calls and getting another supervisor on the phone, she advised me to write an email since it was nothing more she could do. I wrote the email and it's been a week and no response. I called back again and now the guy says there's nothing more that can be done. I said I was already told that before and that's why they said write an email to get further assistance. He then says, someone will be responding and calling today. Yeah right. I don't want to waste any more of my thoughts on this. Just know this, stay away from Cinch. They don't care or have any concern for your well being. Avoid this company at all costs.

Just bought a new home and despite the inspection passing we have come upon a few issues. We are very happy with the ease of Cinch home warranty. Service was completed in a timely matter and all we did was pay the deductible. So very easy, so very happy!!

I am happy to say we are 2 for 2 with Cinch! Two successful repair/replace service requests. In both cases, the service technicians were professional and respectful of my time. I definitely chose the right company when there is so much competition out there.

After 6 months of dealing with numerous agents, awful communication, 6 service tech, 9 parts, countless hours of pleading to get my dishwasher fixed… I finally found Evan! Sears/Cinch was the worst experience of my life! Evan however is my HERO…he is the ONLY one in this company that deserves kudos….he did more in one phone call than anyone including manager did in 6 months! ( I did speak with another lovey lady in February she was quite helpful but I never heard back from her which is Cinch’s MO . Then I had to follow up with out sourced agents whom I had to explain the details Again to folks who can’t really understand English well and basically don’t care) Evan truly cared enough to get me the best possible resolution. He followed up everyday to make sure things were getting done. He was the only agent that actually returned a call. I had to go through the Corp office to find him and I am so glad I did!! Thank you Evan for being so helpful, profession and kind! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate all you did! We are finally up and running! Evan for Employee of the year!!! Such a perfect example of great customer service! Keep it up Evan!

They were very quick, friendly and knowledgeable about our dishwasher issue. The Technician was friendly and explained what happened to our dishwasher. He checked and double checked it before he left. I am very pleased with this service.

My son purchased a home in June 2023 and purchased a home warranty through Cinch. The nightmare of Cinch started on 11/21/23. The furnace was not working and we started a warranty claim. Paid the $100 deductible. They sent a company called "Rapid Heating & Air" out to the house. The furnace and AC unit were old and we knew eventually they would need replaced but didnt think it would be so soon. They claimed they ordered the part on 3 different occasions and we waited. No part was ever shipped. They had the HVAC company price replacement, then went back to waiting on parts, then parts didn't arrive again. The HVAC comp claimed they could get it. During this time The HVAC comp also priced a replacement and my out of cost expense for that would be $1375. Over a month and going without heat in brutal Ohio winter, the part finally showed up and was installed 12/26/23. The part did not fix the furnace and the HVAC company ordered an ignitor. That part was replaced on 12/29/23. The ignitor failed again and notified Cinch on 02/11/24. I did not receive a response. Contacted again on 02/16/24. Was responded to 02/19/24.The first time we could be home was 02/23/24. They did not show up for the appointment. They said they did not have the correct number. The provider finally came out on 03/01/24 and stated that the unit needed to be replaced. I got an email, my out of pocket cost being $1500 for modifications. I thought this was pretty high for modifications, it was also $125 higher than the price a month prior. My other option was to take a claim credit of $951.35 claiming the unit was$483 and the labor was $540. I could not replace it on my own for this much so it was decided we would use the Cinch HVAC provider. The $1500 was paid, but when I got the email from the provider with the payment link - it said "Rapid Response Pro", which was my first red flag, but I proceeded knowing that Cinch would require a person to be licensed and insured to be a contractor. The furnace was replaced on 03/08/24. While the tech was there, he installed the metal incorrectly causing the filter slot to be blocked by the flue, which would have to be removed to replace the filter. The gas line was not sealed. I sent a message to the the provider and she told me I needed to contact the owner, which I did. The owner apologized and I told her that I was questioning the workmanship of the guy who came out. She told me that she would make sure that it was handled. They came back on 03/15/24 and replaced the metal to move the filter slot location. My sons girlfriend was home and facetimed me to show me the location was moved and I was satisfied with the filter location change. Once my son got home, he sent me videos of the new furnace being completely scratched, the metal was not attached to the furnace nor the ceiling and was unacceptable. I contacted the providers again and she apologized and said she would get it taken care of. I again questioned the workmanship and asked if Cameron (the installer, who is also the owners son) was licensed. After I was done texting her, Cameron decided to call me and tell me that it was my sons fault because "He is in construction and should know its fine." to which I told him he does not do HVAC. I did research over the weekend and I could not locate where they were a licensed contractor. I called Cinch and questioned what was going on and told them all of my concerns. What I received back was an email full of lies. The provider provided their proof of insurance but someone elses license. I told Cinch I do not want this company back out. They keep trying to let me let them even though it was proven they were not licensed. (I also found numerous civil judgements against the owner, one for defrauding someone else.) I was then told to get a 2nd opinion as there were no other providers in the area. I did that and provided them with the estimate. I am now being told another one of their providers needs to come out. Why should I allow anyone of their providers to come out when they do not

From what I can see, cinch is nothing more then a scam!!!! My ac went out in Aug and they just finished it in March of this year thousands of dollars later I finally had ac until this.My AC worked a total of 2 months and the so called brand new compressor when out so I had to buy another window unit $400 because I sold the first one I bought. So I'll have well over $5000 out of pocket. But again I have to depend on window unit and that's against city ordinance where I live. Thanks cinch

Very lousy customer service. I have made numerous calls regarding a specific document needed and no one can assist me. How is this company still in business?Follow-up 3/21/24: I am still waiting to hear from Jasmine after sending two emails.

EDIT: Our claim was reviewed by a Customer Relations in the Cinch Home Services organization. She approved our claim and we received a check for the full amount of the claim in a few days. It helps to have the claims reviewed. Very satisfied with the outcome. The service provider, Morgan Heating and Cooling in Columbus, gave us two days that he was coming to do the service and did not show up either day. We called another provider and they came out immediately.Cinch refuses to pay the $322 bill because we did not get prior authorization. In the past three years, we were told to get someone to do the service and send them the bill. Yes. It was a different company but we have not had the service done in these years because no one would come out.
