Terrible company. The vehicle I was provided turned out to have operational/mechanical problems. Customer Service and roadside assistance had no viable options. They "offered" that I drive an hour to the nearest airport to switch out the vehicle, and an hour back or that they tow the vehicle- and I would be responsible for paying for the tow--and that I'd have to accompany the vehicle back to the airport. Very costly and inconvenient options. The local Budget offices refused to switch out the vehicle. I've had problems with Budget in other states, but it's been years since I rented a vehicle from them, so I thought I'd give it another try. Budget remains a terrible company.

They never gave me the Dollys that I paid for, yet charged me. I’ve tried to get a receipt for over a week now, and after 3 customer service reps have told me I’d get it within 2-4 hours via email, it Ofcourse never shows up. They knew ahead of time, since the day I got the truck, that they didn’t give me the dollys, because I called them and let them know. I also called and let them know again, the day I returned it and for a 3rd time, 2 days later when I still didn’t receive my receipt. So now I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for over a week, trying to get a refund for the dollys I was never given and trying to get a receipt to see the charges becuase they shouldn’t have charged me more than 367 yet they charged me 448. Oh AND, the truck was FILTHY. It was disgusting. They didn’t even bother cleaning it. There was spilled and dried liquid, food crumbs, dirt, it was sticky on the seats and doors, and the inside of the truck where the furniture goes, had clumps of dirt, soil and broken wood chips- wood chips from the wooden floor of the truck. Yeah. It was a budget truck for sure, basically breaking down. The check engine light was even on from the moment we turned it on to drive it, which is also something I let the office know about the day that we got it. Save your money, the hassle, and don’t get robbed- just go with Uhaul. These creeps are terrible people with terrible service and even worse trucks.

Sophia & Kevin we’re both super helpful, patient with the non-sense happening with someone else while I was there and extremely kind throughout. Overall I would recommend this store.

I had the WORST experience EVER. BEWARE OF CLOSING TIME. I had the Budget truck on Saturday from 9am-5:30p on my reservation, initialed paperwork, they gave me me the keys, and said BYE. No warning that they close at 4 (online also says "accepts after-hour drop off," LIE.). I came back early at 3:55p and the place was CLOSED, LOCKED UP, AND NO ONE THERE. They had LOCKED OUR PERSONAL VEHICLE in their facility and we were unable to return the truck or get our vehicle out of the parking lot. I spoke with three people on the phone, begging to have a manager or locksmith open the gate and they said, "Someone should be there, if not, it's a $250 late fee." Whoever worked there had left early. No call, text, or help from anyone. We had to Uber back to Miami and come back the next day. The next day, we explained our situation to the one and only worker there and she had no power nor cared about what happened to us. Would not provide corporate or manager's information and said I can find it online. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU. RENT FROM ANY OTHER MOVING TRUCK COMPANY.

I highly recommend this business I rented a truck from them. The staff is efficient and will work with you. 100% recommend. I will definitely come back and rent a car from them.

Rented a car on our trip. The front tires were absolutely bold. Left front tire was flat as we were driving. Called budget roadside assistance they told us to wait for 90 minutes. 2 and a half hours later budget roadside assistance showed up. Budget told us that they have a replacement vehicle for us at a location and they lied. Even the budget employee told us that that's what they do is lie about having vehicles. Wasted entire day dealing with this clowns. Customer service is none existent. Cars are in poor condition.

After getting a phone call at 4:40pm the night before I was to pick my rental from Hertz, Hertz employee said sorry nothing is in stock and don't believe the online inventory. I was left stranded. I googled places around Boca and wow! So professional and understanding. I love about this place was that you call and the person working there (Mike) is actually the person you rent from. It's not some far away place that has no idea of inventory of cars. Anyways I will never use another car rental other than Budget. Thank you again!

I want to personally thank Mike Kadzinski, the manager of this Budget rental store in Boca Raton, FL. We were one of the many customers that Mr Kadzinski personally helped on April 3, 2022. Our flight was one of the many flights that were cancelled by AA, along with other carriers. Obtaining a one-way rental was difficult for the hundreds of customers who couldn't get their flights rescheduled for 2-3 days. We had counted 70ish AA flight cancellations on this particular late evening alone. Mike personally used his own car to drive customers waiting at his facility to other facilities that did have cars. He also provided his personal cell phone number for any questions or concerns related to charges/billing. He was a bright spot in a day of chaos and frustration. We appreciated him more than he could possibly know. I hope his superiors understand what fabulous customer support this gentleman provided to scores of frustrated customers. One of the worst experiences I have ever had dealing with terrible customer service. They also charged me 250$ extra for smoking when I don't smoke. I would never rent from Budget again and I hope no one else has to deal with their rude and disrespectful customer service at this location again.

I had such a pleasant experience here. The men who worked there were lovely to deal with and they had masks on the entire time I was there. They didn’t just put the mask on when I walked through the door, they really took the health and safety protocols seriously and it made me feel so at ease renting during the pandemic. Wonderful customer service, lovely people, good clean car. Would highly recommend!!

This is the best Car Rental I have ever experienced. I have been renting for years for personal & especially business (did a ton of travel before 2020/COVID) so I know good service from bad. This Budget Car Rental location is better than good...it is great. People are nice, friendly & helpful. The agency operator really cares about his customers. Cars are always clean & run well.
