We had hundreds of dollars of damage however we were lied to by the movers in person about what would be covered. I was told over 2000, but they didn’t give a unit. Apparently that’s in cents and not dollars and just the basic 0.60 cents per pound per item default which equates to essentially nothing so we can’t get money back for the damage. While unpacking, we saw that they had just thrown glassware into a box without wrapping anything individually. No surprise that things were broken. Furniture is scratched and chipped. Picture frames broken. Not much care was taken with anything. I included a few photos. We were also overcharged for the distance for unpacking according to my contract. They lied and said it was 50 feet and charged an additional fee and my contract says 75 which was sufficient. The movers were also not prepared to move furniture down a flight of stairs even though it was mentioned in advance and I had to help them move the washing machine down the stairs because they couldn’t do it. I’ve never heard of paid movers needing help like this. Isn’t that a liability? Unprepared and unprofessional. Communication was very poor through the entire process. The office didn’t pick up maybe 15 calls of the 20. Delivery was delayed from what we were originally told by a week and no one was communicating with us throughout anything changing. They were also about 5 hours late to pickup and took almost 2 hours longer to pack than we were told to expect. The delivery was about 4 hours later than the delivery time we were told. I would not recommend them to anymore. Terrible experience all around.

Was initially told by SafeShip (the company that called us and told us they were the ones loading and unloading our stuff) that it was a 5-7 day window to deliver our stuff. (From TN to Colorado)So they subcontract to Apika USA, and they pick our stuff up. They charge us $60 to pack our TV, and it still showed up broken. I called multiple times, texted, and left my phone number and email but was never replied to start a claim.Apika told us to expect 5 to 12 days, but up to possibly 30 (this is of course some new contract or agreement after SafeShip gives us the whole spill of how much is insured, when to expect our stuff, etc) but it arrived past the 12 days. I guess its ok for people to just be without their stuff for however long. Apika told us they were waiting on people to fill the truck up (gotta maximize profit, right?)I understand waiting within the timeframe, but if you are going to miss a promised delivery window, you should probably just eat the loss and get our stuff to us when you promised us.There's no accountability in this business. We called all 3 companies (yes, 3. I'm not sure what the 3rd company was that delivered our stuff to us was) and theres no way to prove who broke our TV. its all a hassle and I feel like it should be illegal to do this type of thing without taking responsibility of the cargo. My recommendation is to only work through 1 company and 1 company only for your move. Make sure to thoroughly research moves from where you are coming from to where you are going, and find a company that has done that before. I'm not even sure what the broker offered aside from taking our payment. They worded everything online like "we" this and "we" that, like they would be the ones picking our stuff up, loading it, storing it, and shipping it to our destination. This seems unnecessarily convoluted for such a simple logistics process.I think this is the reason these companies operate in grey areas and constantly change their names and phone numbers.

I scheduled Apika through a broker named Safe Ship. The guys arrived at a good time, were professional and wrapped my items with care. We made an extra stop to my storage unit and same care was given there. I'm waiting for my delivery so I can update once I've recieved my things.

Moving my parents from Florida to New York went very smoothly. Ozzy and Pete were great. Ozzy kept us updated on arrival times. They both did a great job loading, unloading and packing/wrapping the furniture.

My wife and I had a great experience during our move from Florida to North Carolina. Ozzie and Travis worked quickly and efficiently and had a positive attitude the entire time. The turnaround was super quick. We could not have asked for a better team.

I am blown away by how good my move was! I had days of stress and anxiety leading up to my decision and that all went away the minute Ozzie introduced himself. He assured me that everything would be well taken care of and not to worry. Ozzie and Travis arrived on time and delivered on time. They worked hard to protect and secure my items. My move was under 500 miles.Very satisfied and highly recommend.

Terrible experience, scam artists, double your fees after they load your things, mis-handle you things, lots of damage to my things, poor management, my things came on a budget rental truck that was dirty, multiple smashed boxes, things clearly labeled were carried upside down, spent 1/2 hour after pick up trying to get a bottom line number in writing, they demanded a tip as well after doubling my cost with every reason they canThink of they come armed with excuses to boost your cost it’s part of their scam, if a group of people want to get together with me and file a class action law suit I’m very interested in proceeding with this process, they also took a deposit in the beginning and closer to my move said to send a deposit to another company and call my credit card company and dispute the first deposit made, it would be returned faster that way than if I requested a refund still have not gotten refund from the dispute please if there is a way we can all contact each other and file a class action suit let’s do it they are thieves

Terrible. They damaged over $20,000 worth of furniture during my recent move to Dallas from Davie, FL. Instead of delivering it to my home, they dropped it off at a storage and left another company to finish the job. Worst moving experience ever, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Was charged almost 5k for a long distance move, the result has been terrible. The pick up team was great. However, the drop off team was awful. Calling at 3am to let me know they are arriving at 7am with no prior communication, all my boxes arrived in shambles, the movers literally dropping and throwing my stuff, dragging my coffee table and wooden bedframe and chipping them. At one point they even dropped off another customer's items at my place. I come out to the hallway of the apartment building after they've left and several of my belongings fell out of the boxes and were scattered in several places. Boxes were dropped off upside down and the box that clearly labeled contains glass was poorly handled, several dishes were broken.

We used APIKA USA for a recent local move. We had a crew of 3 and they were very professional. They worked really hard and handled our items with care.

I wish I could say better things but we have been badly treated the 3rd time we used Apika services. They seem fine for short moves, literally under 10 miles, but don’t use for long distance or storage. Our boxes arrived to us not only 3 weeks late, but smashed and broken. The communication is terrible. I had to chase with calls and texts for several days before getting a response about where our truck was and when it might get to us.I understand set backs like flat tires and traffic but if I hadn’t been calling every hour for 4 days, I would never have been informed that our truck had not even been loaded THE DAY BEFORE our contracted delivery date. The lack of communication was unprofessional but the treatment of our belongings lacked all the care they promised to use.We had our things packed with bubble wrap, paper, dividers and more but still had to throw away dish ware (even plastic ones!!), various boxed items and our peloton screen was smashed to bits.Try someone else if you like your stuff or just want to have someone pick up the phone when you have a question.

I have used Apika USA for four of my moves and each time they have done a fantastic job! Alex and Keeno took great care of my belongings and were very careful when moving my furniture, as to not hit, dent, or scrape my walls in the process. I would highly recommend them for your next move and I will definitely be using them again in the future.
