“Rimmie is a really big (195 pound!) baby who gets his feet infected from his allergies. NW clinic did a remarkable job in diagnosing and treating him and he is a happy boy just two days later. I've already recommended them to others.”
“I drive 40 minutes so my dogs can be serviced by the staff at Sunshine Animal Hospital in Clearwater. I have had dogs my whole life & the veterinarian, Dr. Griffin, is amazing. She is so smart and provides guidance that is rooted in educated facts. She takes to educate on what your pet is going through.
Sunshine Animal Hospital. I do not want anyone except the professionals at sunshine hospital caring for my babies.”

“Dr. Rius and the entire staff at Parkview are a pleasure! My very hyper boston terrier was just spayed, and her surgery went beautifully. Her recovery has been smooth, and Dr. Rius's incision is so tiny and perfect. Thank you to the best surgical tech I know, Sydney Comstock, for taking exceptional care of Luna! Dr. Parra is extremely talented, compassionate, and runs an excellent practice. The front desk is friendly and helpful, and they have excellent communication skills! Your fur babies are in the best hands here.❤️”
“Where do I begin! I promise it will be worth the read. And if you're looking for a new Vet Hopefully you will RUN to get established with Sunset Point Animal Hospital.
I switched over to Dr. Freeman about a year ago with my two labs; Paisley(7) and Myla(8). My mom met him at Calvary High School in Clearwater and told me I HAD to go get established with him. A year later, I feel so grateful because I'm not sure Myla would be alive right now if I hadn't. A Vet you're confident is irreplaceable and invaluable.
The Back Story: Myla hurt her hind leg just before Hurricane Milton but was unable to be seen until we came back due to evacuation. In the mean time, I tried to give her Carprofen I had on hand from Paisleys leg injury last year. I called on Friday feeling desperate for her to be seen as we drove home and they kindly squeezed me in. We started her on a treatment plan for her back knee and followed up close the following week.
Over the next several days Myla stopped eating and didn't seem like herself. Her knee seemed to be getting better but she was looking physically worse. Dr. Freeman ran some labs and took an X-ray of her belly. During his assessment he picked up on a VERY faint yellow tinge in her eyes that wasn't there the previous week. She was in liver shock.
Things got scary really quick, we had to discuss the possibility of cancer/a tumor and even the need to euthanize. As hard as it was to hear; He was soo gentle with his delivery and provided many options for how to proceed. He allowed me time to talk things out WITH him and we decided to keep Myla in his office overnight (where she was loved and comfortable) on IV Fluids to wait for his friend/college Dr. Weaver (who does traveling work) to come to his office for an emergent Liver Ultrasound the following day.
Dr. Freeman went in multiple times throughout the night to check on Myla and take her out for potty breaks. He sent me videos and emailed me with updates to ease my mind. I seriously don't think he slept.
The following day was one of the hardest days. His staff set me up in a little room where I could hang out with Myla while we waited for Dr. Weaver do an Ultrasound on her Liver. We got good news, it wasn't cancer! However, we dont know what caused this acute liver shock.
We are still in the process of figuring things out BUT Myla is making improvements and is able to ride out her sickness in the comfort of her own home. She is on IV Fluids around the clock. (So grateful they allowed me to come home and manager her here). She ate through an IV overnight and the office squeezed me in for a new IV.
I wish I could show you all his report cards from each visit. There is so much attention to detail and descriptive instructions about things we talk about in the appointment to reference back to.
Having a sick pup is so nerve wrecking but I have felt so much peace and confidence with Myla being in the hands of every single staff member at Sunset Point Animal Hospital.
I have to give a super SPECIAL thank you to Josie and Danielle. For all of the hugs, the help, the water, the tissues, the pee pads, the blankets and most importantly; for loving on Myla all day when I wasn't there. I never worried about her once knowing she had you!!!
I pray Myla makes a full recovery. She is in the BEST hands and getting the BEST care possible.
Take this as confirmation that your pet needs Sunset Point Animal Hospital.”
“We have brought our 4 cats and 2 dogs here over the years.
Dr Woodley is absolutely amazing!
We unfortunately had to put one of cats down not too long ago.
Dr Woodley talked and walked us through the entire process.
We walked in crying and we left crying but we knew it was the only right thing to do for our sweet Zena.
She left us alone with Zena before the procedure and when it was over, she told us to stay as long as we needed to say goodbye to our baby girl.
Dr. Woodley is without a doubt one of the kindest and most compassionate people you will ever meet.
She is a true asset to that hospital and to her profession!
Thank you Dr Woodley!!???????❤️
Zena, Thor, Simba, Doobie, Layla and Mykonos.”

They are not pushy, the Vet himself called us through this experience and their prices are very fair. We have had other dogs in the past with other vets non of them hold a candle to this Vet, we are happy to be with them and we highly recommend them. They really cared about our dog.”

They all care about our babies fur, they are very busy and still very kind and caring. When Gypsy went missing the girls helped me with flyers and supportive words. It's really a reliable and efficient place to bring your pet, they will definitely take very good care of him. Thanks again to the crew.”

“My Cinnamon is an anxious ball of anxiety in a pitbull body. The staff here is amazing with my baby. I have called last minute because my daughter was in the hospital and I needed boarding and it was never a question. The vet tech made sure he had a pocket full of the treats Cinnie likes best to help calm her. When Cinnie was attacked my another dog, they fit her in ASAP to be looked over. She was in pain and growling, and the staff never flinched. They just kept telling her she was a good girl and cleaning her up. I won't bring my animals anywhere else.”

7:30AM - 6PM
3845 Tyrone Blvd N, St. Petersburg“I love Bayshore and my dog’s doctor, Dr. Learning. He has taken such great care of “us”! After we made it through Hurricane Helene, then Milton, stuck on the island with nothing for days, my little old Yorkie made it through, we were both worse from the wear. I took her in for a bath, no water at home, , and her goopy eyes, looking pretty beat up. I told Dr Learning that a few people wanted me to put her to sleep, he said, “No, after what she’s been through and survived with congestive heart failure, not today. They gave her a bath, gave me meds for her eyes, and he gave me a hug, and told me to drive careful to my brother’s house a couple hundred miles away. I’m so happy he was there for me! Her little eyes are sparkling again, he coat is good, and I took her for a walk just the other night!
Bayshore really looks out for us. ❤️”

“Dr. Kathy is the best! Not only is she an excellent doctor, but she loves her patients. She always takes the time to hug & kiss our kitty to make her feel more at ease (like most pets, she does not like to go to the vet) but Dr. Kathy always takes the time to somehow calm our baby down. So thankyou Dr. Kathy - just want you to know how much we appreciate you & all you do for our "Little Girl". Barbara & John K. Seminole”
“Dr. Thomas and her staff are absolutely the best! My family has taken our pets to this hospital my whole life, and now I do the same with my own. I even drive from Tampa now, because you really can’t put a price on quality care.
This hospital always does their best to get you in same day for illness visits, which can be hard to come by. The prices are fair and the techs and staff all love my babies…it really shows.
I don’t think I’ll ever move vets. I am so forever grateful for the compassion they have shown over the years with the losses of family pets as well as welcoming new ones to the family. Cannot recommend enough.”

They are excellent at listening to your information about what your pet needs and recommending treatment options. The staff does not recommend costly unnecessary tests and treatments. They are great at following up with you and checking in about how things with your pets are going. Dr. Joseph Grennon is particularly kind and an excellent doctor and I'm so glad we have found a place to take our pets for excellent care.”
“First time using Alone At Home Pet ServiceS, and it was a wonderful experience. Tammy, Jeff and Marian all came over for the interview and you could see they all immediately connected with my two dogs. Marian stayed with the dogs while I was gone and did a wonderful job leaving detailed notes and taking care of the girls. Will definitely use them again!”
“Dr Cousin takes great care of my pup and wonderful at taking time to answer all my questions! My dog really doesn’t like strangers and growls but Dr Cousin has magically charmed her and her staff is very sweet and understanding of my dog’s fear of people. She drags me into the clinic-she loves all the treats!”

“Took my two year-old male cat Zeus here because he had a blockage in his urethra and boy was I scared I was gonna lose him. He spent a total of 4 days here during 2 separate stays. After the 1st stay we brought him home, he was doing a lil better but was still peeing blood and was very lethargic, I was worried he wasn’t gonna get better. We brought him back for a 2nd stay to check on his kidneys and he stayed there for another night. When we went to pick him up he made an almost full recovery over night. Zeus was much more awake, eating, and walking around. I honestly cannot thank this vet enough, everybody there was super friendly and you can honestly tell their best interest is in your pet. Words cannot describe how appreciative I am of everyone that works there, and I’m sure Zeus would say the same.”
