OMG! I don't know where to begin. Had to ask 4 or 5 times for temp checks. Kept asking what was taking sooo loooong for my new checks to be delivered. They finally realized they had never ordered them! Seems like no structure or accountability or urgency. I had to stop by the branch periodically bc their ATM's did not allow deposits, until recently...really! I had 2 checking accts at OZK. Went on-line to transfer $$ into the proper checking acct for the IRS electronic debit for my tax pmt. I received the on-line notification that the $$ would be transferred the next business day. Never happened ! My IRS electronic payment bounced causing an IRS assessment of a late filing return penalty and interest. I tried the on-line transfer again.... after the fact, just to see if I did something wrong. Same result----got the notice it would be processed the following day and it never happened. Now, because the transfer to fund my checking acct never went thru, I have a late filing mess with the IRS. I suggested an OZK rep could have called me the day of the NSF, so I could have authorized the transfer to prevent the NSF. Manager informed me the branch does not have access to NSF notifications until the day AFTER the NSF is processed. Are you freakin' kidding me??Then, the manager told me they don't do that for customers....no time to do it. Again, are you kidding me? I worked at 2 major fin'l institutions for 20 yrs and we had access to see any NSF's and call client same day, to get it rectified before 3 pm. I then asked why OZK Bank didn't call me the day after, when they were aware of the NSF, to inform me? I was told they do not do that for customers!! Believe me, this place is always empty whenever I stop by......but they do not have 10 minutes to call a few customers who may have an NSF situation? Nonsense....again, they are always empty. I then brought my laptop into their branch to show them how I processed my on-line transfer correctly to fund my checking account for the IRS electronic debit. Another waste of time as they do not enable any non-bank laptop internet access.OZK Bank needs to make the quantum leap to the current....where structure, accountability, urgency and a much better response to customer complaints is practiced. Gayle is horrific, I’ll be moving my account since it appears she is the only person I can deal with at this bank (I asked to speak with someone else and she refused).

I spoke with Doug, a private banker exactly one week ago about opening up a special account that can only be done by banking treasury managers. He promised me a call back the next day to discuss next steps. It is exactly one week now and I have not heard from him. Unprofessional is an understatement. Not only will you NEVER get my business, but I Have told my NEW bank about your unprofessional business practices, as well as anyone who will listen.
