I took my truck in for a new alternator, they got it done and gave me two prices, a cash price with no receipt and a “normal” price, the difference was $160 with the cash price being $800 and the other being $960. Their breakdown was that the alternator was $700 which put them making about $100 an hour in labor, alright that makes sense. Learning that there were two prices, I went to the atm to get cash because for some reason, it’s cheaper by a lot. I was unable to get the cash that day and informed them that it would be Wednesday before I could get the cash (I was planning to pay with credit card but for $160, worth it to do cash). Paid them Wednesday and all good, except I had purchased a battery also and didn’t need it so I went to another Napa to return it, at that time I asked what the price of the alternator I had put in cost, it was $440!!!!!! This was the exact same alternator, same part number, all checked out. Given that it took them an hour to install the unit, that puts their labor cost at almost $400 an hour. I’m assuming it’s why they wanted me to do cash with no receipt. They may be fine people but this event didn’t show that.I’ll add that when I found out that it would be a few days before I could get cash, the owner changed the price to $1100. He swore that his son had told me originally $1100 but ended up accepting $800.I understand fully that paying a bill late should have a late fee on it but given that they are choosing a single form of payment, not making that clear up front, then adding $300 to it for the delay, it just all felt shady.Didn’t feel right at all.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had transmission problems and went to them for help and it was the worst decision ever. First the head mechanic Chris told me that it was most likely a solenoid malfunction or torque converter. After buying both parts and being told that the repair was done, my car wasn’t fixed after driving away. I returned it back and they waited an extra 2 months to tell me that they couldn’t repair my car unless I get a new transmission, so what was the purpose of the initial diagnostic test? They later said that I had to pay $1700 just to get my car back not repaired which I felt was unfair to me. Please use these guys as the final option to get your vehicles fixed. Absolutely the best service! My dad spends the winter at Tory Island Campground. Not only did they fix his car the same day they took him back to his camper and picked him up when his car was ready. Can’t say enough how impressed I am with the high level of service that went way beyond our expectations. You don’t find this high level of customer service anymore!!! Robbie Tire recommended this place, and I was not disappointed. I dropped my car off & told them what I think the problem was. Larry was very nice & he called to let me know how much it would be & called again when they were finished. It didn't cost an arm & a leg....just an arm? No, but for real, this place is great!
