Up until I came to Landon, I had never been in a more cozy hotel in Miami! The site is not only a haven of beauty—the double doors in the foyer and the warmly colored, pleasant rooms are just two examples! From the moment I arrived and till I left, I felt so at ease with the front desk staff! All of them responded to my requirements promptly, with professionalism and kindness. I will return soon!Rooms: Cozy, Clean and Quiet

The Landon is listed as "4 Star Hotel". Based on that advertisement, we were disappointed. If you think of the hotel as a Hampton Inn that hasn't been updated in about 10 years then you'll be satisfied.

The worst hotel been in my life!!! Starting with front service and ending with rooms. The front guy was so slow. Took an hour to check us in.After check in , when we see the room... was crazy... smell like pee, AC noise was so loud... bathroom dirty and towels wet.Yes, if you check the pictures online those are awesome, but please do not believe , there the rooms looks opposite!!! I mean very bad!!!!I booked online for 3 days it was my husband birthday, so we couldn't stay there for all 3 nights! we did check out and found another hotel.Asked for refund and they never gave back, saying that is not refundable!! Really guys ?! We should smell your pee for the entire vacation?!I never recommend this hotel !!!But the crazy thing is they charge $200/night!!!P.S. There are a lot of bad things to say... but I do not want to scare you... just do not go there ... otherwise you will have the same bad experience as me!!

I stayed here for obvious reasons. “It had my name on it!” But overall, I was very impressed. Super good service and very clean rooms! Hope I can come back soon!

I have resided in this hotel for 2-1/2 years just recently. They y have treated me marvelously, all the personnel is kind, well educated and sweet. The rooms are clean and smell very well. The breakfast is varied , abundant and even kosher. The beverage - coffee and tea varied and if very good quality. Especially I recommend my marvelous receptionists Sheena and Keleane, Jeni, Aleida Alberto, Manuel and Feliciano! Excellent and very kind workers. As for Amanda the general manager she is the most sweet person I have known. I will just say Thank you all employees of The Landon!!Noteworthy details: Less than 1 mile close to several synagogues: Young Israel, The Shul , Magen David Sephardic Orthodox, and others I don’t remember now. Close to Bal Harbour Mall.

As new Florida residents, we had the immense pleasure of staying at the Landon for two weeks while we awaited HOA approval. From the moment we entered, the hotel had a warm and welcoming aura. We were greeted by Kaleane, and her smile alone is so infectious. Every detail of the hotel was so inviting. Our room was super clean, and Michel, aka Michael, welcomed us at Happy Hour daily from 5-6 with a choice of white, red, or sparkling wine, and warm conversation. Every evening, Felix was a gracious host and to say we will miss these three would be a profound understatement. We came as new residents, and left as family.-Matt and Christi ThomasSafety: Very safe area to walk around at nightWalkability: Three restaurants located on the same blockNoteworthy details: Beautiful boutique style hotel with high end furnishings

Came here for an August long vacation with my husband. Second time coming to the Landon hotel. My husband and i finally arrived at the hotel and Michael Macola, front desk concierge, was there. First, he greeted us and helped our way through the checking in process. Very professional and friendly. He asked first if we needed towels, toiletries whenever we saw him and he was so attentive, a big plus. I would like to say thank you to Michael for the great service and friendless, made us feel comfortable staying here at The Landon. I would also like to say Michael Macola answers any questions and concerns regarding our stay, a big A+!!!!I would highly recommend Michael and ask for him! Again thank you Michael Macola, hope to see you again when we return to The Landon.

You don’t want to come to this hotel. Here’s why.The rooms are small and smell bad. There is no plug outlets near your bed at all.If you sleep next to a street you will hear everything at night since the windows are thin especially the room in front of the hotel. There is no elevator! Good luck bringing your bags up the stairs. They don’t offer any staff to help you. They will charge you a $20 “resort fee” a day for towels and I don’t know what else.First of all it’s not a resort. Second when I booked on Expedia they said everything is included. The $20 resort fee a day is a typical 3rd world country scam that they are trying to bring to the US.And the parking situations is a hit or miss. There is 8 spots on the side of the “resort” lol and then some more in the back but we got unlucky and couldn’t find parking for 1 hour.Other then that the beds were good. Location is great and that’s it really…Rooms: The room suck! Go to a real resort!

Rented with Airbnb and could not even stay there, the front desk guy asked me for money ($100 specifically) to let me in because of the time I was checking in. Also he lied when I called telling me that there was no late check in fee. Which clearly there is, at least is what they told Airbnb Support but now they say is $50. Review is only based on this.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful hotel, which is conveniently situated amidst high-end shops and trendy eateries. The entire atmosphere exudes relaxation, with palm trees providing shade and a sense of tranquility. Just a short 12-minute walk away is the breathtaking Bal Harbour Beach, offering a perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun. For adventure seekers, Oleta River State Park, renowned for biking and boating activities, is a mere 5 miles away. And if you're arriving by plane, you'll be pleased to know that Miami International Airport is just 14 miles from this gem of a hotel.Let's talk about the highlights, shall we? First off, the rooms are warm and inviting, giving off a cozy vibe. I loved the ceiling fans and wood shutters, which added a touch of charm. Plus, they had all the modern amenities I could ask for, including free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, and a Keurig coffeemaker. It's the little things that make a difference, right? Now, let's address a couple of drawbacks. I did wish there were more dining options available on-site. There was only one upscale steakhouse, which was great, but having some variety would have been nice. Additionally, I was surprised to find that there was no fitness center. As someone who enjoys staying active, I would have appreciated having a workout facility at the hotel. Lastly, some rooms could use better soundproofing, especially outside of the doors. The liveliness of the surroundings could be a bit noisy at times. In conclusion, my stay at this hotel was a memorable one. The cozy rooms, along with the complimentary perks like continental breakfast and daily happy hours, made my experience all the more enjoyable. While the limited dining options and absence of a fitness center were slight disappointments, the hotel's prime location and charming ambiance made up for it. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway or a convenient stopover in Miami.

Check-in was fine, complimentary glass of wine very nice, the room was clean but unfortunately the A/C did not cool the room down, carpet wet from the A/C unit, ceiling fan didn’t work, TV was not working….needed to switch to a new room the next day. We asked the desk rep. for a restaurant suggestion, he did not have any suggestions only to discover the Landens web site has many restaurant suggestions…. The night desk manager was sleeping on the lobby couch when we returned to the hotel at 10:30/11pm. Check-out we were informed that due to the issues with the 1st room we would be credited the $20 per day resort fee, plus an additional room credit to our credit card, which they had not followed through with at the time of this review.
