I was just in the store picking up an order for Door Dash customer. The guy cashing me out want my ID and gave me attitude. Complaining he needs this job because he has kids to support and he not loosing his job for anyone. He was very rude. I am 57 years old and I have grey hair and my mustache is all gray. When you look at me you can tell I am a lot older than 21. Your not the only one supporting.someone. maybe management should train there employees how to talk to customers. I've worked in retail my whole life.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, shame on both of us. To think people will lie to your face because they don’t want to admit “I made a mistake”. I’ve ordered pictures on line several times from this Walgreens and all three times I wait the allotted time and give them extra time to pick them up, and yet they tell me the same thing - “they just came in…” like really, I submitted my pictures over an hr ago and “they just came in”. Yet they don’t know that I have family that works for Walgreens and friends and they tell me once you submit your pictures online it take about a minute for them to receive it on their end. All they have to do is push a button and the pictures will print. Yet you have a grown man who said “they just came in” - lied to my face. And I told him, they were suppose to be printed over an hour ago. He said, “like I said they just came in and I pressed the button” Rob, at the Bartow store, NO! You just pressed the button. They did not just come in, everybody was doing other things and not paying attention. So now I have to wait an extra 30 mins on top of the 1hr 1/2 I waited for them in the first place. I’m so disappointed at the customer service in the store. The pharmacy is good, the rest of the store - service has really gone down much! Not “I’m sorry” from Rob. I hate complaining but this is legitimate. Went to buy a bag of ice at the Alcohol side of the store the young man - might of been stoned, but no hi, thank you, have a good evening, like he was ice cold. The young girl who cashed out my pictures, not even a thank you, come back and see us again. I hope these youngsters aren’t getting paid 15$ an hr. Because they are give 2.00 an hr customer service. If it wasn’t for CVS closing down I wouldn’t be going to Walgreens. I told my family that works for them, “what’s up with that?” They apologized and told me to reach out to customer service. I told them “I don’t think it really would make a difference”. Bartow you guys are better than that! Time to get new people!! Ones who don’t lie!!

This review is more about the customer service shown to me by a pharmacy tech or pharmacist.
I had a prescription not covered by insurance which would be almost $300. I was so happy and surprised when Alayna found a price just over $60! She cared enough to take the time to help.

Employees are the worst. I wouldn’t be surprised if Walgreens closed this location. Hire new management or close the store.

My complaint is on the "so- called manager" last night on January 23, 2024 that told my son he don't think he could upload his money on his PayPal card for him and afterward told my son he would have to bring his ID. to him to upload that much money. Question????!!!!!! My son only had $500.00. I know Wal-Greens in Polk County, Florida is allowed to add the maximum of $500.00 onto your PayPal card. Is that a new Wal-Green policy/rule to be prejudice to customers who are or look to be Black American and how they should not in what they call a mind should not have $500.00 to upload $500.00 on his PayPal? GUESS WHAT EVERYBODY? GO TO WALMART if your in Bartow, Florida and get your very own money, uploaded on your Paypal card, with asking to be Verified with your I.D.! Problem Solved. I CAN'T SAY THIS ENOUGH, THAT THEIR ARE "TO MANY WRONG PEOPLE IN LEADERSHIP POSITIONS!!!!" My GOD!!! That's the state of Florida main problem for all of these job/career vacancies. Well, maybe the people in a higher Archy thinking this is the only solution and they could really care less either way. Because it's never been about The Well Being of Our People and Our Families in the First Place! ? Thank GOD I know a True Living GOD. Jehovah Jireh!!!! Hallelujah. Amen.

This WALGREENS IN BARTOW SUCKS!!! I have always used CVS in winter haven however because my insurance changed I had to use this pharmacy. The first time I called the options took forever to get through and when I finally got the pharmacy on the phone after ringing and ringing they LITERALLY picked up the phone and hung up on me!!! So I waited a few days and called back. Close to the same thing happened again. The Phone would ring and ring then picked up and I was immediately asked if I wouldn’t mind being placed on hold but wasn’t given time to respond just placed on hold anyways. Once picked up was told I needed a prior authorization to called my doctor and make them aware so I did. My doctor then notified me once done. I have since called them back to check status of medication and was told my husband wasn’t even in there system and was place on hold again then picked up and told the authorization was need from my insurance…..DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

One thing after another. With every prescription it’s out of stock, won’t be ready till tomorrow, insurance issues. These people clearly don’t know what they are doing. They need to get new management or something. Worst place ever. I will be transferring my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

We came through FOUR times today for 2 of my moms RX.. each time "wasn't ready it will be done in X amount of time".. okay no problem the last time we came through they FINALLY filled the first one and told us the second would be ready in an hour, so we came back LIKE THEY TOLD us to and they said it couldn't be filled. (Thanks for the wasted TripS) so my mom called up there to see why since she wasn't there to make sure it wasn't an insurance problem or something.. They guy on the phone automatically started shooting accusations at her that she's some drug addict and harassing them etc when she was simply asking WHY it couldn't be refilled when THEY told us to come back for it....REPEATEDLY...my mom has arthritis in her neck, she was Prescribed this medication YOU told us would be filled today. Absolutely rude and crappy customer service, you don't speak to people esp an old woman like that! Esp when it's YOUR fault we even had to come back multiple times in the first place. LIKE WE WERE TOLD TO DO by your staff.

Used the Walgreens app to order same day prints... was notified that order was ready. Went to the Bartow location to pick up order to be told that the machine was broken but no one knew when it would be fixed. I received no notification about the delay. When I asked if they could send the order to another store for completion I was told no and both the team lead and associate were rude. Asked for the manager name and was told they were not sure of name and didn't know when he would be in. The associate stated that she was only a part-time employee and she didn't need the hassle. This is not the 1st time thatcustomer service has been lacking.... absolutely ridiculous!

The worst Pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Every time one of our Dr's has a rx sent to Walgreens they have issues dispersing them for all kinds of ridiculous reasons you wouldn't believe and it always takes days to straighten it out.
