It's definitely my go to hardware store. Very friendly staff and helpful. I visit Lowes a few times a month for various projects. The customer service is awesome.

Lowes Bartow, FL is the worst Lowes I have ever had the displeasure of shopping in. Trina, who states she is a Manager, is highly unprofessional as well as condescending and rude. Customer Service as well as cashiers are totally lacking at this location. This must be Lowe's "lowest" regarded store in Florida. Not only will I never buy anything from this location, I have closed my account and am boycotting all Lowe's stores.

no I do not recommend. I placed a purchase online for $3,344.82. then as items are shipped out im being hit for the charges again they say it's a hold amd it will go back 2-10 days um no your taking my bill money now. I only placed a high order to replace items lost in a flood. I ordered most at once. so now my account is almost negative and I don't have e my money to pay my bis cause they took it. I've contacted customer service without any help. I've contacted corporate waiting on a response amd I contacted the bbb. the longer it takes for me to get my money the more I get to leave a negative review. I will be purchasing from ace hardware from now on. lowes and homedepot are stealing peoples money. there is no need for a hold of funds after making a purchase. you purchase money comes out and done. I think they are scamming people of there money. I'm not done fix it or beware.

Do not shop here for installed products please read other customer reviews as they WILL take your money and not serve you at all or very well. my front door wont close and windows are crooked siding is falling off so is facia. and they refuse to fix it

I am glad to have a Lowe's in Bartow and glad Lowe's gives a military discount. (Home Depot does not). I have almost always had great customer service. Once in awhile had problems with paint matching but they always tried to make it right. Let me bring home fabric books for window blinds, always let me know what aisle to find items. When someone doesn't know the answer they have gotten the manager of that department to help and he was very knowledgeable. Like most places at this time- they are short handed but I have found if I'm pleasant- so are they.

First off I think it's amazing Lowe's offers a discount to military. It's great seeing a business that shows their appreciation in this way. The staff was very attentive, knowledgeable, and helpful. We were assisted in finding carpet, a beautiful back splash, a refrigerator, oven, and flooring. I am excited to see how everything looks together!! Scott was very helpful in answering questions and checked up on us several times. Overall wonderful experience!!! We also picked up our Christmas tree recently and the staff was quick to load it up. Very happy with the excellent service at this Lowe's.

Purchased a digital in-wall timer for porch light. They only had one brand offering two timers. Looks as though Lowe's is getting out of the in-wall timer business. First one was defective so I returned to get the only one left available and it didn't even turn on. So, to review, both in-wall digital timers available for purchase were defective. Not a big fan of Amazon, but have no other choice, it seems. I will never, so long as I am alive, ever shop at any Lowe's again. The Home Depot in the next town will be getting my business going forward. How two-bit does a business have to get for two defective products get in the hands of the same customer?

I wanted to install two outside security doors. This Lowe's charged me $50.00, to have a man come and take measurements (on a standard door size which I told them was a standard door size.) They didn't have any security doors that I wanted. They were either too flimsy to be security for anything, or out-of-stock, discontinued, or priced out of this world. So, I waited, as suggested by the sales person, for the next season to see if I could get something. He assured me my deposit would always be good with my receipt. When I went to order next season, I was told I'd have to pay another $50.00, and have another installer come out and measure the doors. I told him I had already paid, and that they should have kept the measurements in their computer as long as they had my deposit, together with the suggestion that I wait a season for the type of door I needed. The sales person became thuggish; surly and intimidating. I said I was going to talk to the Manager, but he went to the manager ahead of me. The Manager evidently backed the sales person because I was told I couldn't have my deposit back, and as far as they were concerned, there was no sale pending. The sales person let me know in no uncertain terms that they weren't about to do anything for me, they were keeping my money, and that they wanted me to get lost. If this is corporate America, we need a change.

Customer service is horrible at this location. Save yourself the trouble and go to Home Depot. Prices and selection are comparable and returns are hassle free.
