Luxury shops only. The poor employees were standing around looking out windows waiting for customers to enter. The few we spoke with were friendly & accommodating. Saw a cute pair of basic looking sandals, they were priced at $1500. Nothing unique for that price, just buying name. Parking was inexpensive.

Our next family adventure take us to Bal Harbour Shops located in Bal Harbour Shop Fl with a category of 4.6 and more than 5,254 reviews, looking for a new place to walk around and enjoy the day. This place is amazing If you look around you might think that you are in Milan, a country where fashion is a national symbol, All the stores are from Europe and the majority from Milan or Milano, the quality of the merchandise is what makes it the best. The cool temperature offered by all the plants and trees that are a decorative part of the place are incredible along with ponds full of koi, Japanese fish, which makes a perfect combination. And if all the walking and visiting shops and admiring the place makes you hungry, there are also several restaurants from different countries ready so you can enjoy an incredible meal.

I absolutely adore this place. It reminds me of Alamoana mall in Honolulu simply because it is outdoors and the layout as well as the greenery, the ponds, the fish and the turtles. Remind me of Alamoana. This place actually has valet services that quite a lot of people use. The great thing about the Small is at any huge name that you could possibly ever want to find you will find here however, you will not find mid priced or more affordable options at this location in any way shape or form. Your best luck is going to be at Neimans's or at Saks for some of the other product lines that they might carry that are more affordable. This was a great visit, simply to window shop, and to look, as well as to have access to some pretty hard to find brands around the globe. We also were having lunch here, which I will do in a separate review but the food options here are incredible.

Purchased a few pairs of shoes (best ballet flats since we travel and walk a lot). I bought my husband a suit as a gift. He loves it... an Italian wearing Italian design is perfection. They are kind, served us champagne, took good care of us, 5 stars!!

I was greeted by Rasa the minute I came in. Was looking for shoes for my husband. His size was not available so she went on to order them for me while we sipped champagne. A pleasure to visit

Avoid this store, had to wait in line before even getting in the door (over 45min). According to security they only have two sales associates to let customers in. I was looking to try a particular item in person but this is very discouraging considering this is suppose to be a high end store.

The worst experience I have ever had! I have purchased a handbag from there and after a couple of months the bag started to peel and tear. I went to the store and told them my concerns and they told me they could send the bag to the lab for repair and that it will take between 4-6 weeks. I was ok with the time frame so I went ahead and told them to send the purse to the lab. After the 4 week mark I have called them to get a status on the purse, they told me they will check and call me back and they never did. Two weeks after that I went to the store to find out again the status of the repair and again I was told that they will check and call me back and again no one reached out to me to give me answers. At this point it was past the 6 weeks I was told it takes to repair the bag. I called again and again they were extremely rude and told me they will have to call the lab and find out and call me back and never did. This went on for 4 months!!! Me trying to reach them to get my purse or even an update. The last time I called they told me that they will again reach out to the lab to find out and will call me back. At this point I had enough and I decided to call the company’s customer service, only after I called the company’s customer service I got a call from the store the same day that the bag is ready to be picked up from the store!!! I’m not sure how long it was in the store until they decided to even look for it. I truly believe they are anti semitisim. This is the only explanation for the way they treated me and my wife. Stay away from this location and Prada in general!

I visited this location with my daughter on Mother’s Day and the staff completely ignored us and when we asked for help they were rude and made us feel unwelcome. I won’t be visiting this location ever again!

Bal Harbour Shops, an upscale shopping destination in Miami, has a serious parking problem. From the moment you arrive, they start billing you for parking fees without any clear pricing information posted. After paying, you're forced to navigate a confusing parking labyrinth that take you up to the roof and then back down again. To add insult to injury, the restaurants at Bal Harbour Shops don't offer parking validation, despite making you wait for a table. This is frustrating and unfair to customers who are already paying premium prices. And then there's the construction. It seems like they're always under construction, with noise and dust that make shopping there an unpleasant experience. Overall, my experience at Bal Harbour Shops was disappointing. Their parking policies, lack of transparency, and construction issues make it clear that this place is not worth the hassle or expense. Save your time and money and shop elsewhere.

Bal Harbour Shops is located between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay in the upscale village of Bal Harbour. Its history goes all the way back to WWII when the land the mall now sits on used to be military barracks and a prisoner of war camp. In 1965 developer Stanley Whitman built Florida's first high end fashion center. After studying other malls around the country for 8 years, Whitman rejected the enclosed malls taking advantage of the new invention of air conditioning in favor of an open air mall that showcased the lush tropical South Florida environment. Instead of creating a mixed use mall with businesses that provided useful services as was typical of the time, he instead sought to entice high end fashion retailers to South Florida of the type that could have only been previously found in New York and Paris. He hired Herb johnson from a Miami based firm to design the mall. Whitman was also influential in the Bal Harbour community. He helped to acquire a new zip code, improve traffic plans, landscaping and beach restoration, improve the water main, create a resort tax and more. Bal Harbour Shops really took off when Whitman convinced Neiman Marcus to open their first specialty boutique outside of Texas in Bal Harbour. The stores success spurned other luxury retailers to follow suit. A second floor was added to the mall in 1982 and a third floor was completed in 1983. Today Bal Harbour Shops is 58 years old and one of the highest grossing shopping centers in the world. In addition to Neiman Marcus and anchor Saks Fifth Avenue which opened in 1976, you can shop across three floors such luxe brands as Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Versace, Prada, Chanel, Rolex, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef & Arpels, and Balenciaga to name just a few. Dinning options include Aba, Carpaccio, Hillstone, Le Zoo, Makoto, Bianco Gelato, and Café en 3. You won't find a pedestrian food court in this high end mall. Bal Harbour Shops has a special complimentary mall membership program that provides a suite lounge area where you can sit and relax, a complimentary parking reward, coffee, and other programs and member benefits throughout the year. My favorite part of the mall is the landscaped courtyard garden. There are trees festooned with colorful orchids, fountains, and koi and turtle ponds. I came to the mall to see the temporary exhibit Fleurs de Villes Voyage. This was my first time here and I had a few insights from the experience. While I loved the exhibit, traffic is nightmare surrounding the mall because of Haulover Park on the other side of the bridge from the mall. The large and very popular park puts a lot of traffic into the small artery of road leaving the mall. I experienced traffic delays going to and leaving the mall. Once you finally reach the mall you have to pay for parking. It was a nominal $1 and hour. It wasn't anything expensive but you do need to remember to pay your ticket before getting back into your car to leave. Lastly the mall is under a major 500 million dollar construction project. The mall is trying to add another 340,000 square feet to the 511,000-square-foot shopping center. The back of the mall and the parking garage look terrible. Bal Harbour Shops was sued for a million dollars by a construction firm for not paying their bill and if that wasn't bad enough, they are in litigation with one of their two anchors, Saks Fifth Avenue. They also lost the chance to secure Barney's of New York in the mall. How the mall will resolve the construction issue that has been going on for years now still remains to be seen.
