Extremely poor experience at Bal Harbor location. If you are in the market for Swiss watches/jewelry, do yourself a favor and consider other brands altogether!

Terrible!!!! The worst experiencePurchased a diamond watch for my wife about 5 months ago which she wanted specifically ( I wanted to buy a Cartier or a Rolex) Already having issues which I knew it would happen. My wife was wearing the watch and the time was off and she tried to fix the time but the crown just fell off!! felt like we have purchased a Chinese $10 watch( Even I think they are more reliable!!!) I have taken the watch to the store which was purchased at Ball Harbor Chopard and they took the wtach to get it fixed. Over a month no updates from the store and absolute no communications. My wife finally called to see if they have any information and the manager said that we would have to pay $250.00 to fix the crown. What a cheap minded wanna be luxury brand!! I am just furious that I have spent over $10K to buy this watch and not even 6 months the watch is falling apart and yet they want us to pay their imperfect cheap materialized over priced watch!! If reading this do not make the same mistake and listen to your wifeBuy a real quality luxury watch to your wifeI have purchased her all the other brands before and never had any issues over 10 years ( Forget 6 months!!)Cartier, Rolex even AP. Stay away from Chopard especially Ball Harbor location!!!

Last week I went to the Chopard Bal Harbor boutique to get information about a watch and had the worst experience. I asked the associate for assistance and he refused to help me, he raised his voice, became extremely angry and agitated and refused to help me in a courteous manner. I asked him for his name but he would not give this information. He grew angrier by the minute so I said I was coming back to see the manager. He finally gave me his card, his name is Sestilio, this man should not be allowed to be in contact with the public, his conduct and lack of manners are unacceptable in the business of customer service. I later spoke with the manager but he did not show much sympathy, I actually thought he agree with what the associate did. I am certain other customers have been subjected to this treatment as well. I will not recommend Chopard Bal Harbour to friends or family. Do not go there.

I have visited this store on numerous occasions and have been treated with nothing but the up most respect and professionalism. The manager on numerous occasions has gone over and above to make you feel welcome and like your business matters. Will absolutely return.

Three months ago I went into the Chopard boutique in Bal Harbour. I explained to the associate that I would like a new band for my watch and I need the short size. He advised me that he did not have any but he would search in all the US boutiques, and get back to me within two days. After a week of not hearing back I called the boutique, and was told someone will call me back, no one did so I called again, and at that time was told there were none available and I would have to place an order, and wait for the strap to come from Europe...which I did in person 3 months ago. After waiting three months and hearing nothing about my watch band I phoned the boutique yesterday, and was told "it doesn't exist in the color I ordered" (which was dark blue, and I have had that color before therefore it does exist, and I ordered it from a book of colors the SA showed me). I asked the associate why did no one inform me so that I could've ordered another color instead of wasting three months unable to wear my watch, and his response was "someone must've left you a message or email". This was the same person who never called me back the first time I came in. I doubt he ever even placed the order. There is absolutely no excuse for this kind of incompetence. I own watches from Cartier, Piaget etc. , and receive nothing but top-of-the-line service and return phone calls and emails. One would think you would get proper service with return phone calls & not have my time wasted. I think the sales associates need refresher course on the importance of customer service. When a customer has a negative experience they would not purchase a product from this company again. UPDATE: As a last resort, and out of frustration I went back into this boutique, and asked for the manager, and explained my experience to him with the SA I dealt with. He told me he would get back to me by the end of the day, and he did, and within a few days he rectified the situation.
