Terrible costumer service ! Lady’s were rude , we purchased 7 items by the time we got home we realized 1 out of the 7 items we purchased was not in the bag. So like anyone else would , we called the store to let them know they confirmed & advised us that it would be up front. I show up with my receipt, explain to the cashier ( Yveline) what was missing , her and two other ladies tried to tell us we never paid for it , when clearly on the receipt it shows we paid ( it was literally the second item scanned ) . Meanwhile I’m trying to explain what it is we’re missing the lady is trying to multitask , walking away from me mid conversation, so unprofessional ! It’s not worth holding up an argument since the item was only $3. But that is not the point , if we paid and it shows , just give us our item. They have cameras all over that store pointing at each register, as a former retail store employee the smartest thing to do to satisfy the customers , is to go back and look at the camera footage. No need for me to lie about something like this ! You can keep the $3 and the item we forgot ( that they did not bag ) but this is the second time we have a terrible experience, just an FYI. Merlos & La Yerbita are by far some of the best Mexican stores around & I definitely do recommend them rather than this overpriced , unprofessional store.

Food seasoning was more “Caribbean style” than Mexican. Quality was not there and taste was the same in all meats. Price was a bit overprice for such performance, not a place to eat often. The store was set like ones in Texas.

If you're going to the restaurant, order what you want for the box, and they'll give you your tortillas to make your own tacos eat, and you'll have a to go box for later.

Ordered tortas and a taco. Long wait. Tortas had no avocado jalepenos or queso fresco. Basically forgot everything that made it a torta, but the flavor was good. Tacos were disgusting had to spit them out.

Nice Hispanic store has a wide variety of stuff excellent little meat department and they serve awesome Hispanic food there also.

So far the store has quite a few good items.I will just have my own saying and one of their products that they sell is their meat that they have packaged and sitting in the back.Do not trust anything with seasoning.It may be old and passed due And definitely do not buy any meat that is packaged and sold at the freezer section. I bought me 3 times and all those 3 times it was very spoiled and sealed double so that it wondering why they packaged it so well.Keep an eye out for the mate.I don't recommend it.This screwed me three times.

The butcher shop is the best in Highlands County! They never have Chicken Milanese anymore! It sells too fast! They have to do more... if they do more they sell more!
