I just moved out of the jungle that these days is New York City.
If they only had a supermarket half as good and half as inexpensive as Publix, New York would be a better place!
Publix has fresh everything. You don't have to check expiration dates on everything like you must do at Gristedes.
Publix has clean, wide aisles. All the staff are polite. It is a pleasure to go there!

My local store. I like shopping there, good employees but the lack of cashiers is very bad. Only 4 self checkout systems which often has 20+ people in line going into the aisle. Plus usually only 2-3 regular checkout leads to long waits and lines. Also since the store is smaller the shoppers and carts waiting makes the aisles and navigating the store near counters difficult and crammed. Simple solution is to have a few more HUMAN cashiers open. Thanks

The deli at Publix Aventura in Loehman’s Plaza is amazing. I go there almost every day for a sub and the employees and manager are always super helpful and efficient, everything is fresh and all the employees work very hard. Great food and service.

Literally one of the slowest ever at making sandwiches. You would think they were zombies. Instead of making sandwiches in the deli, the workers were talking and walking around. Finally a second person came but just to be slow as the first. Took 30 minutes to get 1 sub. Ridiculous.
