Spectacular attention from Maliyah, she treated us like a 10, she gave us many options according to the perfumes that we told her, in general it takes my wife and I a long time to decide on a good fragrance, she really had a lot of patience with us and dedicated quality time to us to find the ideal perfume! Recently, I visited Perfume Mania in Aventura Mall, where I was assisted by Maliyah. Unfortunately, she wasn’t very friendly, but I proceeded with my purchase. I told her I was looking for a cologne around $30 for casual use. She asked if $50 was okay, and I reiterated that I preferred not to spend that much, but was willing to see what options were available within that range. She showed me a couple of samples, and one was priced at $39.99, which I was happy with.
However, when I went to pay, the total came to $58.79. She explained that the higher price included an atomizer, which I had not requested. When I questioned the charge, she insisted that’s "just how it is." After leaving the store, I checked my receipt and saw that the cologne was indeed $39.99, but the atomizer was added separately for $14.95.
I returned to the store and asked why I was charged for an item I didn’t ask for. Again, she dismissed my concerns, stating that’s just how the receipt breaks down. I asked to return the atomizer, but she refused, so I decided to return the entire purchase. Throughout the experience, she showed no empathy or concern, making this the worst experience I’ve ever had at Perfume Mania. I will not be shopping there again, especially at the Aventura Mall location. Maliyah’s behavior was deceptive, and she should be held accountable for adding items to increase sales without full disclosure.

Went into this location at aventura mall and got a weird vibe… I came in there to shop and the sales associates were very condescending. showed little to no customer service! They assumed I didn’t want to buy just by looking at me! I took my shopping elsewhere! Would not come back here again. No wonder it was empty!

Went there earlier this evening. Got home and realized the colonge I bought was way cheaper online. I was ripped off. Paid 73 in store. Come home and find it online got 38. Will not go back here without searching the cologne first

I was in the store 2 days ago on the 27th and I was attended by Mariella, I had a terrible experience, she would not speak to me and would shove the little smelling papers in my face one after another asking me if I liked any. I ended up leaving with nothing because it was obviously going to be a tedious process, but that is terrible customer service I usually try and look for Carla because she goes in depth and really helps me get what i'm looking for but she wasn’t there that day unfortunately.

Carla was amazing! She gave us a breakdown of all the scents. We went in trying to find one cologne and a perfume — we left with 5! She knew what we were looking for. The price was amazing. Will definitely recommend to speak with Carla. Give her what you currently use and she will direct you to similar scents or better! Thank you Carla, you’re the best!!

I bought there to support a smaller business, rather than going to Sephora. I bought a perfume for my wife, when she opened it, the bottle had leaked all over the bag. Perfumania accused us of breaking it, which is untrue and unfounded. We had not been treating it rough, and the bottle was in it's protective box all along. They refused to exchange it. You'd think they'd have recourse with the manufacturers/distributors. The product was broken. They refused to make it right. I will buy at Sephora's next time, I am sure they will honor consumer laws.
