I applied to open a bank account.
Their customer service is from India. I'm having difficulty understanding their form of English.
Further, I did NOT feel comfortable talking to someone from there because plenty of financial frauds against Americans originated there.
They ask for your social security, your date of birth, full address, cell phone, copies of your driver's license, and another ID proof such as a bank statement from another bank. Information that many Americans with common sense would think twice before giving them freely to a personnel from another country, especially to that particular region of the world.
It's really sad that we can not have our own rep based in the US. I have seen in the news plenty of Americans robbed a significant dollar amount from the said country.

I went to the branch and the receptionist beyond rude. I needed assistance with a wire transfer from their HSBC branch in Hong Kong and was told not possible.

Claudia Correa is extremely rude and racist. I do not recommend anyone coming to this branch. It’s by far the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced every time I go in there. The other branch is too far from where I live, so I closed my account. There’s much better banks in the Aventura area. Don’t waste your time going here.
