I hate to give less than at least four stars, but this bank failed a disabled family member.Back when a lot of banks were only allowing customers with appointments in due to COVID-19, this place wasn't. A family member was about to start receiving a tiny monthly check and hoping for a decent checking account to make things easier and hopefully save money over going to check cashing places. While the woman working there was friendly and helpful, unfortunately, there were service fees that would equal more than 10% of their check, but they decided to go ahead and set up an account there.A few months after setting up the account, the family member fell for a scam that overdrafted the account. They explained to the bank, but no aid or protections were offered. Overdraft fees quickly racked the amount owed to more than twice the original amount and they were still charging monthly fees. For a while, their check was interrupted, and then they were paid the back-pay, to this bank. The bank insisted on taking about twice as much as they last owed to turn over the money, holding the check hostage until the amount was signed over. The family member had no choice, needing their money. They ended up paying out three to four times the amount they were scammed out of to get their money from the bank.
