My husband and I have been using Barton Storage for about a year and are impressed with this facility on many levels. Staff has always been helpful and friendly from day one, our (climate controlled) units are clean and well lit (which is a plus when you’re organizing your ‘stuff’), access to clean bathrooms, and convenient hours to access unit. We liked them so much that we rented a 2nd unit for a short period while transitioning from a different facility.

No trash cans anywhere on the facilities. I feel like they went into my storage unit while I had my stuff stored because the floor did not look cut up and replaced like it did supposedly, but it was hotter than hell and all of my things are moldy now that I put my household things in storage.

Came to pick up our travel trailer this morning and it had been stolen.Someone came in with a rented u-haul truck and drove it out. Storage facility didn’t inform us it was missing because they claimed they thought it was us.Absolutely devastating as this was our home and we lived in this full-time.We have lost 80% of our possessions.We didn’t even get an apology or offered a refund on the storage fees and the manger was actually pretty rude, showing zero compassion and victim blaming. Horrible!Not to mention the CCTV here is useless and bad quality. You can’t even see the license plate or any details of the person who stole it. Definitely not proactive and good quality security like they advertise.**In response to the owners reply below**We were never advised to not leave our belongings in the trailer and we were not advised to use a tongue lock (that can be cut off easily anyway) We were not made aware of additional insurance that can be purchased. We asked you on the phone if it was safe and you replied "oh yes, we have never had any crime here"How dare you try to victim blame us!! This is your business. Your business is to provide security and safe storage. You failed! You made zero effort to assist with the police and you did not co-operate with our insurance company. You are not deeply sorry this happened to us, you're sorry this happened to you!Otherwise, you would have reached out and apologised to us in person. You have our email and telephone number. You're only replying because I made a public review.

Based on the recent 1-star review due to RV theft by a thief using a U-Haul truck, (but it's far down in the list of reviews).... I would never use this storage facility. Security is vital!

Strike this place off of your list if you're thinking about storing your RV here. Read a review that someone's travel trailer was stolen. It's apparently not secure!

Best storage place ever!!! All of the units are inside, and they have wonderful security. Unlike many places, this place is kept up, always clean, no bugs, no rodents, no issues. The staff are wonderful and always friendly . I had my climate controlled unit for years and never ever had a issue or problem. The prices are also much cheaper than most places.
