I was very happy when I used Beaches Moving and Storage. They were very professional, organized and quick. They also were very helpful from the office staff, the staff that came to give the quote to the movers. You will not be disappointed if you use them!

Hi Everyone! I lived in Saint Augustine Florida for 15 years. I am disabled and live by myself. I hired Design 55 to manage my move. Design 55 is a concierge company that manages moves from closing the door on your old place to opening the door in your new place. They boast that they even set your home up and most comfortable sheets and blankets on your new bed in your new home. Design 55 then hired Beaches Moving and storage to pack and transport all of my belongings to Parkland Florida. I never had the opportunity to speak with Beeches prior to their arrival for packing and moving. When Beaches Moving arrived to begin my packing the owner along with three other men out of uniform arrived they reeked of marijuana. On the third Day of packing the owner began questioning me about paying them. He told me that once we got down to Parkland he would not except a personal check. I didn't think anything of it at the time but he began badgering me about getting cash. He became more and more aggressive even leaving threatening voicemails which I forwarded to both his business manager as well as Design 55. The night before my household items were to be delivered the owner called me commanding that he have cash in hand by four he would deliver my belongings. Again I did not understand why he couldn't take a debit card a check or even a credit card this man was demanding cash and told me if he did not have the cash before my scheduled delivery he would take all my items back to Jacksonville and put them in his warehouse. So essentially he was holding all of my belongings hostage well this aggressive man screamed at me. My daughter waited for four hours for them to show up, the owner was lost in his truck with the entire moving crew. He then called me a liar and told me my address didn't exist my daughter pending him our location and even though he had additional people with him he would not even try to look at his phone or pull over to get the directions. Strange since they are a relocation company. I had to call my realtor to get on the phone and give him turn by turn directions to find me in the most popular neighborhood and all of Parkland Florida. Ladies this man was so aggressive towards me and my 40-year-old daughter they just gave us her her body in front of me. This man even described mans genitals to me I called his wife and reported this behavior in the office. Do not ever trust this company to HELP you with your move. In the end my estimate to move my belongings was $7800 and some change this estimate was based on weight and my original weight actually came in way under what they had estimated however they ended up charging me $8500 for this move which is in dispute with the Better Business Bureau and Vystar Credit Union they are very untrustworthy based on my experience and opinion.

We just completed a move from this company and could not be more satisfied . They showed up right on schedule, and worked from the minute they arrived to the very end. The driver, Will, was extremely courteous as was every member of the team. They handled our furniture as if it was their own. You just could not expect more then they provided. I would recommend them with no hesitation. From a cost perspective, we got more then we paid for. Excellent company! Mr. Robert

I called to schedule an appointment for someone to come to the property for a quote to move contents for a 2 bedroom house to Virginia on the 19th. It was scheduled, John, the owner arrived, walked through house to access the contents. I opened every cabinet and drawers to show what would be packed. Quoted $3400. The morning of move date, John arrived, with an attitude, walked into the house, raising his voice stating its going to cost more. We were on the driveway, he was still raising his voice, and I politely asked him to lower is voice since all the neighbors could him. He looked at me and said "have a nice" day and drive off. I called the office, his wife answers, who is very nice" spoke to him, he returned and charged $1800 more than quoted. Do not use this company, doesn't know how to take inventory, over charges, rude, FAIR WARNING!

Moving house is never an easy experience and renting a truck can sometimes be the roughest part of the day. At Beaches Moving & Storage they made the entire process as smooth as possible. Every part of the rental agreement was explained in clear English along with every tax, miscellaneous charge, and discount. We breezed through the signatures feeling confident that everything had been clearly understood and outlined. We checked the truck out together making sure it was in tip-top shape while she handled any questions we had. If I ever had to move house again or lug big stuff around Jacksonville then I'll definitely be returning to Beaches Moving & Storage for their stellar customer service. It's a hidden little gem and a stone's throw from Sugar Cane in case you're in the mood for tasty Cuban food afterwards.

Many of my co-workers have used this company moving from all different parts of the US! I decided to use them to move from Boca Raton to Jacksonville. The owner John was amazing with packaging all of my stuff and moving all my furniture. NO scratches, scrapes, or broken glass! I would definitely use them again!
