“This place is amazing!!! It has been beautifully restored after being abandoned for a decade. Our guide, Pat (?), was absolutely fantastic! She provided us with fun facts and stories on the house and its previous owners.My favorite room has to be the “secret” room!! If these walls could talk!! ? And the stained glass front door is absolutely gorgeous!!I would definitely recommend coming here for a tour if you’re in the neighborhood! Advanced tickets are required so you can’t just show up for a tour!!!”
“What a beautiful location. The grounds and building were exquisite, at least for central Florida. I attended a small luncheon hosted in the wine room. The food was very good, possibly the best catered food I've had in recent memory. I am thankful for the experience.”
“Service was absolute zero. Went there for a wedding and they scattered us all around the different buildings. They were really impolite when we asked to join the bride in the same building. We ended up being in the furthest building as they couldn't accommodate our request. Also we had to throw all the food we brought away due to the lack of a mini fridge in the room. Finally our building had no elevator and we had to carry all our luggage up flights of stairs. There was a fire during the night that people from our wedding had to evacuate from. The room was old and could use some fresh decor renovations. While the golf course is nice, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone due to the extremely bad service and the attitude of the workers.”
