I really dislike writing negative reviews, but in this case, it is unavoidable. My husband and I bought a travel trailer a few months ago and needed a place to store it because our HOA does not allow us to have them on our property. We rented a covered storage spot, and things were fine for a few months. Last month, our travel trailer was broken into 3 separate times. Whoever did it broke the locks on our outside storage and stole several items of ours. When we took a closer look, we noticed that several other travel trailers and RV's were broken into also. Some of them had their doors pried back and seriously damaged. There is also an RV there that has the windows boarded up, has lots of trash around it, but was the only one not broken into. It appears that someone is living in it, and we suspect that they are the ones breaking into the vehicles. Even after we reported the first break in, it doesn't seem like anything was done because it kept happening. They could have notified the police of their serious issues with vandalism and theft. There is a fence around the back of the storage area, but none and the front and anyone can walk or drive back there. Until they put in a gate and fence, this kind of issue will keep happening. Hopefully, they will make changes that show they care about the safety of their client's property. I can say that the staff there was always friendly and that when we canceled, they refunded our most recent payment since it was only a couple of days after the payment due date. I can't say anything about the storage units there because we did not have one. Rating from F to A+++, I give them a D- because what good is storage if your property is vandalized multiple times?

Called after work to verify closing times and pricing for propane. I was greeted kindly by nicole who answered all my questions with a smile you can feel through the phone. Soon arriving she greeted me and let me know she will take care of me. nicole was a pleasure to speak to. I left uhual wanting to tip nicole for her kind words and small talk while filling my propane tanks. But they don't accept tips! Maybe a raise with promotion! (:

I have had to use the services of U-Haul on several occasions. My husband has been busy at work and I bring the camper or hitch or rent a truck to move my college sons. I have found them to be friendly attentive and helpful. They make you feel comfortable as a woman to be there asking questions and are willing to help out. It has been a pleasant experience every time. Hats off to APOPKA U-Haul as o have not felt that way at other U-Haul places. Staff are well trained engaging and reflect a desire to do good work. They call me back answer questions and explain what you don't understand.

Don't EVER Store a RV or utility trailer at this location! We stored our brand new camper here for the covered parking and in only 2 months our hitch lock was cut off and someone stole it, only AFTER they stole some else"s utility trailer. It's all on video, but after 30 days, no news. Uhaul took 72 hours to get the video to Orange Co. Sheriff who have left us one voicemail in 30 days with no return of our 5 calls since. We have insurance, but it didnt cover the whole cost and Uhaul certainly won't. The manager said they have NO responsibility. I will NEVER use Uhaul again! We bought our trailer after paying off our student loans after 20 years! Now someone is using our trailer for FREE - NO THANKS to Uhaul!!

Went there to get propane. After saying I would never go back last time I went back set outside for 1520 minutes was told somebody would be right with me never came out until I loaded up my canisters and started to pull out of the parking lot then the guy comes out. I also need a note there were no other customers in the place at the time and I saw the guy inside on a ladder hanging up advertisements. For 15 to 20 minutes complete horrible experience I swear I will never go back

Thanks to the "MANAGER" Neph Saint of the U-Haul Apopka I will not be doing business with U-Haul again. I always rent my trucks at this location. I had a hitch installed at this location 2 years ago. I'm a returning customer. On Labor Day weekend I purchased a new truck and I immediately went straight to the neighborhood U-Haul to purchase a hitch and schedule an install for my new truck. Dane a super, super nice associate helped us out I explained our situation and he gave us an appointment for Saturday, September 8, 2018 @ 8:00 am. We have to bring the truck and wait for it. My husband and I only have 1 vehicle and we both work, I can't do weekday appointments. This is not a bank for God sake this is U-HAUL (even banks conduct business on Saturday). The manager called my cell first thing Tuesday morning to cancel the appointment. He wouldn't even work with me on a Saturday install he immediately wanted to direct me to another U-Haul. Maybe Dane should be the MANAGER he has the customer service skills the current Manager Neph lacks. How sad!!

I just left after using a truck for a day. I went over mileage but truck drive great no complaints. I was a bit bummed it took a while to drop off truck - there was obit two guys there and they were hustling. My dolly came undone while driving, guy initially was going to charge me but let me slide. If he's reading this, worked sucked today and I can tell but I really appreciate it.

Thanks to Mr.Underwood i am never gonna use uhaul again. Guy is giving me attitude and yelling at my face cause there was some damage with the auto transport that I didnt know about. (I paid for safe move insurance coverage fyi)

Rented a pick up truck & a vehicle trailer. Had nothing but issues from the start. First we were not told about the extra mileage fee added on when we called for the quote. Then my account was charged $96.00 on the day we rented the items, another $50.00 was charged the following morning, and then another $101.00 charged after we called and complained. So a total of $247.00 was taken from my account (when in the end it should have only been $101.00) making my bank account negative and it takes a few days to be reimbursed! The Manager at this location was useless and could care less when we called to have all of this corrected! The staff all seemed like a they were hung over. This was the worst experience I have ever had with U-Haul! Basically it was "Oh, well, sorry for ya" being the end result according to U-Haul. What a lack of unprofessional idiots!
