So it's best to make an appointment online ahead of time. Lots of seating in the waiting area. Ryan quickly inspected & fixed my problem tire (nail lodged in tread, but no puncture; Lucky me!). “The visit to A.O.K Tires on Main street today has left me with renewed faith in the human race! Long story short we found ourselves in Apopka in our 1989 Itasca Suncruiser "Gertie". Gertie is older and her tire size 8R 19.5 is very very hard to come by. If you can find them, they are expensive, and have to be ordered/shipped, etc. We spent days calling around to different tire shops in search of a front steer tire for Gertie. The lowest price we received was $220 + $40 installation/tire with brand new tires being the only choice as used tires in that size are unheard of at this point in time. After days of calling and searching on Facebook we found what we thought was a "good deal". *R 19.5 tires never mounted (sitting in a barn). We purchased 4 tires for $250 cash and were very excited to get them installed today. We were recommended this shop by another tire store (as it was closer, and Gertie had wires protruding from her R Front tire), so we limped her down the road to A.O.K tire. After arriving a gentleman came out and assessed our Gertie, and the tires we purchased. We explained we wanted 2 mounted on the front, one for the spare , leaving one extra. The assessor stated that "he had to go ask his manager as the tires are dry rotted and the sidewalls were showing thin striations/cracks that were invisible until enough pressure was applied". WE explained that we had purchased them on FB marketplace and did not have ANY money to purchase more tires, much less brand new ones. We are living in this RV with our animals and though it isn't much, she IS ALL WE HAVE at the moment. He left, and we felt defeated. WE did not have any other options as we had spent $250 on these tires that we were being told that we couldn't use. He returned in a bit and explained that "they were unable to mount the tires we purchased as it was a liability and not safe to do so". He surprised us both with what he said next..... "I know you guys do not have the budget for new tires, so we are going to DONATE 2 used tires (225/70/R 19.5) to you all". We were in shock! Utter and total disbelief that people we did not know (much less a small business) would be kind enough to not only DONATE the tires we desperately needed, but also the INSTALLATION cost. In a few short hours we were on our way with 2 used steer tires (and a third mounted on the spare tire rim), with nothing owed but a friendly handshake and "Goodluck"!

Needless to say, we are very grateful for the crew at A-okay tires in Apopka. We are so very thankful that there are still good people out here among us all! The residents here are lucky to have good folks and buisness' here who recognize and offer a helping hand in times of need. You know how you occassionally wonder, "when karma will come round?" Us too....but today was a special surprise that it does in fact come back!

“I took my car here because of my friend's recommendation and I'm glad I listened to him. As soon I parked my car, I was greeted immediately by a friendly mechanic who was inspecting a car outside. The receptionist was very helpful, knowledgeable, and fast with paperwork, it is amazing there was no waiting time at all.
I had my back window fixed because it wouldn't go up and down.
When it was time to pick it up, Tim was very accommodating with me and my questions were all answered giving me a peace of mind. The charge was very reasonable in comparison to other repair shops out there.

I've gone there before and know you do good work and guarantee your work; Mechanic explained stuff to me so I understood what was wrong. Wait area is nice and clean, and I like the water machine. Felt safe driving the car when I left. Also good location. The first guy was nice, Shawn was kind of dismissive. Have returned because my tire was flat and got good service. I trust them and the mechanics are knowledgeable and professional. They are busy but take time out to talk to you. Once again, I really like the water machine.”
