Stopping in at City Liquors in Apopka on Hunt Club & 436, is mostly for convenience, due to the limited selection and noncompetitive prices (as compared to relatively nearby Sam's Club, Costco, Total Wine....). I could drive further down the road for a better selection/price but when I factor in the current price of gas and my time, (since I'm right around the corner from Publix at the moment anyways and on my way home), I might as well do some quick shopping while I'm here. I noticed two tight lanes of liquor, make passing other patrons extremely difficult, so basically one person at a time can shop an area at a time. I did find a new vodka/soda drink to try while looking around in the beer cooler, but my favorite find was the alcohol enhanced ice cream I found near the register. Bourbon Cherry? Yes, thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to try more flavors. Look for quick deals near the register to save a few cents on small products.

This place has everything. We were looking for a rare bottle of liquor and found it here right away. The owner was very friendly and helpful, not to mention welcomed us like we were regulars. Will certainly be back again. Two thumbs up.
