Update to prior review Rosé colored Not only has Aspen Dental NOT processed or field my claim with my insurance. They are charging me additional 2900.00 for stuff I didn't receive. On top of that I wasn't even at that office NOR in the state of FL.

Went to get my wisdom tooth removed & setup a plan to keep the rest of my mouth up to par. :) Great Experience for what it was, thanks to the Doctor & the X-ray Doc who kept me as calm as possible. Very professional team. 100%

The doctor and his associates were all very friendly and helpful. The facility is new and very nice. I had a pleasant experience. I would recommend this dentist office to family and friends. Update, I recently visited Aspen dental again because I needed help with a broken denture, since it was in the warranty period they printed a new one from the saved Scan they had on file. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. My experience was great and the technician was knowledgeable. She made sure I was happy with the results and invited me back if I had any other concerns. I highly recommend this business.

It is very nice that the initial consultation and exam fees were waived. That was a $220 saving. The assistant and hygienist are friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. The tooth extraction was done fine. The only issue I had was ineffective communication and prolong wait time. I was not advised that this visit would normally take 1.5 hours. I ended up being there from 10:20am to 1:15 pm and was still awaiting consultation session. I decided to book a separate appointment for the extraction at 4:30pm as I was unable to wait any longer. Funny though, no one cared to follow up on the consultation except that I got there early and asked for it. All in all, it's fine that I got my tooth pulled with a little money saving; but spent half my day there.

I went to this place when they first opened up in apopka. I went in and they took all kinds of x-rays. . They told me I need some kind of mouthwash then I was escorted to the billing office. The lady told me after insurance I needed to pay $500 out of pocket for this mouthwash. I told her I did not want to do that. I just want to get a cleaning. She said unless I get the mouthwash for $500. I can’t get the cleaning done on my teeth. I just got up and left will not go back there again.

Got a phone call at work that my mother in law was in pain and it was dealing with her teeth. She doesn’t have insurance and it was difficult to find a dental place that’s willing to work with our situation and take emergency walk ins (mind you we went to 2 places prior and called many places but was told that she needed to make appointments, we couldn’t do that because she was really in a lot of pain, came across aspen dental and was hoping that they were able to help us, and thank goodness they were able to take walk ins. We live paycheck to paycheck, so the fact that they had affordable prices helped us so much. Would definitely recommend to everyone that’s looking for a good dental place. Staffs were professional and very helpful, the place is organized and very clean. definitely would be coming back

I wanted to give my experience No stars but it won't let me. I came early to my appointment as requested as it was my first appointment. I waited more than an hour and a half before I was seen. Then it took another hour before I was done. When it was over I was told that my out of pocket cost would be over three thousand dollars! All I needed was a cleaning, no cavities, no other services. Nothing was required except a deep cleaning. Run, do not walk, away from this place. I won't be returning.

Wanted to charge over $400 just for cleaning. Will upsell you hard. They tried to upsell me before I saw the Dr.Aspen quoted $105 for a new patient checkup and cleaning prior to the appointment. During the appointment they claimed I had gingivitis (I did not, it was gum irritation from flossing for the first time in months) they asked for $434 after my “free exam”. Said I didn’t need a deep cleaning. Nothing wrong with my teeth.I knew someone else who they told it would be $4000 to clean their teeth. They will work hard to find any way they can to upsell you. Unless you want to spend $500 avoid like the plague, especially if you have perfect teeth and just need cleaning.——————3 days later went to Greenberg Dental. Was $150 for new patient appointment and cleaning. It turned out I did NOT have gingivitis, I just had gum irritation from flossing for the first time in months prior to my appointment.I was told my teeth were fine and Greenberg cleaned them for the quoted price. They said a deep cleaning was not needed.Aspen dental definitely tried to charge me for things I did not need. Which was verified by the dentist at Greenberg dental. You can get an appointment at aspen dental fast because they try to trick people into paying for more than you need. People aren’t stupid, so they go elsewhere, which is why they aren’t very busy when everywhere else is.Don’t waste your time going there unless you’re ok being ripped off. They also take over 20 X-rays when less than 10 will work just as well and protect you from un-needed X-ray exposure.I tried to talk to the Dr and begged them to just clean my teeth without paying for the added fluoride and gingivitis treatment, and they out right refused. I even asked to talk to the Dr and he also refused claiming his license would be in jeopardy. All false.Greenberg is far better. They only charge you for what you need, they’re honest and straight forward and do an excellent job.————Response from the owner 5 hours agoI am very sorry to hear this. I wanted to let you know that I did pass your feedback along to our Customer Service team so that they could address concerns with the team in Apopka. If you would like to speak with them in the future, please let us know. Thank you. - Garlen, ADMI————————-In response to company:I spoke with them extensively in the office. I asked the person to double check I couldn’t just have the $105 cleaning as originally promised. He refused so I asked again and he brought out the “Dentist” and he also refused and claimed his license would be in jeopardy if he cleaned my teeth and said “What if you find issues after you left and I didn’t treat them?” Really? With gingivitis that doesn’t really exist? He also refused.I tried very hard while I was there. They refused to treat me. I’m just sad I wasted hrs of my time and got exposed to way more x-rays that was needed. Greenberg took 1/4 the amount of X-rays. Which I much preferred! Too much can cause cancer and they took way too many. There was nothing more I could have done.

Staff was extremely friendly and My dentist was very patient and ensured me being the coward I am when it comes to dental treatment that I would be fine. His touch was so gentle before I knew my two extractions was out I swear it seems like within seconds. I was like, “you’re done already?” I’m very appreciative for such gentleness and patience with me. I almost look forward towards my next visit. I say almost with a smile now that I’m getting over my fears with dental visits.

Hello I have been waiting for my refund to my Care Credit account and charges Humana Insurance account since June 27, 2023. The amount from 6/20/23 is $356.40 to be refunded to my Humana Flex Card and $5,590.20 to my Care Credit account. Every time, and I mean every time I contact Aspen Dental here in Apopka, FL I get the same old story. Paperwork has been filed & our main office will have to refund your credit accounts. The last time I called I was told I should see my accounts credited by 9/15/23 to no avail. What is the problem I really don't understand; I'm now reading all of these negative reviews and receiving a better understanding unfortunately. Just tell me when my accounts will be credited to my accounts. Thank WBroner

The staff were all friendly and professional. The office is beautiful, well planned and state of the art technology. My needs were attended to. A plan was developed for my care as well as financial considerations. It is currently easy to get an appointment at this new location. The Dr well explained my needs using the diagnostic data obtained (x-rays and more) and answered all of my questions completely with no rush to the next patient. I would highly recommend this Apopka, FL location and I’m so happy to have found such a competent provider for my dental care. My only “complaint” would be that I waited 1/2 hr beyond my appointment time to be seen without any explanation or apology on this my first visit.

The best Dental care I have ever experienced! Amazing service from the entire team that was very professional, courteous, friendly, and made me feel like family. The doctors’ examinations and treatments are very thorough, and they provide possible solutions by priority. The office is super high-tech and has an innovative approach to dentistry. A sterile, brand new office space and equipment. Even has TVs. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

Showed up today for an appointment (after receiving the automated text message that I had one today), to my surprise they somehow didn't have me down for one! After they made me feel like I was possibly at fault I showed them the actual text message stating the date and time of my appointment. They then asked me "what I wanted to do today then?" to which I responded with: "you're the doctors office, what did you have scheduled for me originally?" to which she replied that I could receive a cleaning and went from there. Almost a full hour and a half after my original appointment time, I'm getting called into the office for my cleaning. Thus, turning my easy Monday morning into a long drawn out day; where I have to push back plans to get food with family and friends! The least a Dentist's Office could do is be a little organized and know what is going on.A little aside: In the hour and half waiting for the call to come in, three different patients had come in regarding disputes with billing or scheduling. Save yourself the mental wear and tear and stay AWAY from Aspen Dental!!!
