It's been 2 years, most of the lockers are still broken and machines that are in bad shape or missing padding but usable will not be fixed until theyre unusable then it'll take about a month to fix. Refuse to fix a cracked window for months. The pool and hot tub is dirty, especially when you compare it to other 24 gyms. The positives are this gym is actually 24 hours, there's enough cardio machines and they aren't missing free weights. Also The employees here are great I wish they were at a different gym. The only thing they'll do about these complains is respond to them here in the reviews so they can pretend they listen to criticism.

I have been working out for the last 30 years .I have attended many gyms during that time and I need to say 24 hour gym in Apopka is the worst I have ever been to.
From the broken down equipment ( that is not fixed for months ) the rude front desk personal , the extremely dirty gym and zero knowledge of anything fitness by front desk , and trainers .
I would give this gym zero stars if I could !! Think twice about joining this gym !!!

No air conditioning in group fitness room. Corporate controls thermostats remotely. In this heat I now get dizzy during class. Old equipment not oiled and maintained, many stair steppers out of service, floors dirty, only plus is les mills classes and the great fitness instructors, only reason I come here.

Be aware that they will lie to you by ommission about the membership features.
The wife and I ordered one year and one 4 day private training package. We specifically said we just wanted one package and one year and would manually renew if we liked it. The manager said "yup" and did not explain to us we are locked into an auto-renew on a monthly basis. I tried reading the fine print but didn't notice any wording of auto-renew or subscription (outside of subscribing for the individual packages)
When asked to cancel the additional classes, they refused, and when stopping all auto-payments it apparently also means you are no longer a member. So functions like "pausing" are no longer available. Which is specifically a feature that convinced us to sign up for the year.
Now, to get the "membership status," we need to sign up again for auto renew and purchase another year.
I had hoped it would be a normal purchase, but the gym will happily scam you out of money like all the rest.

The manager at this location lacks effective communication skills and the ability to find a solution. My girlfriend had a negative experience when she went in for a workout after taking pre-workout Unfortunately, her card didn't go through for the last payments due to a recent card change caused by a hacked bank account. She explained this situation to the manager, Alaric Ruiz, and expressed that she would fix the issue after her workout, but he refused to allow her to continue with her workout. Despite verifying her membership, he insisted that she leave the gym without any consideration. This incident left her feeling frustrated and unsupported.

This gym is the good but a lot of the lockers are always not working which makes it an issue when I have go for my workout. It's discouraging.

I’ve been going to this gym for about a year and it has significantly decreased in quality since I started and I think it is because of the new management. There are some positives, the membership is affordable, the equipment is adequate, and the overnight staff are friendly and accommodating. However, the basketball court isn’t accessible 24/7, which can be inconvenient. There’s also a persistent issue with broken machines, and the sauna is frequently out of service. The management doesn’t seem to do anything about these issues and interactions I have had with her have been negative. I see a lot of reviews blaming the general staff for this issue but that is MANAGEMENT’s responsibility to carry out. Based on my observations, the new manager Brooke seems to be in a very rude and short attitude with her employees AND customers! She cannot expect people to stay at this gym if she does not change anything. I’ve never had a problem with the staff as they’ve been helpful and responsive when help their level is needed. However, majority of the operational issues with this gym are in the control of the manager. If only she loosened the reign on her employees, she will be able to focus on the tasks at hand and get this gym back into shape!

I honestly can't agree with the other negative reviews here. I go here whenever I'm in town, and have been pleased with the breadth of equipment: three squat cages, multiple bench racks, multiple pull-up bars, dumbbells that go towards 100lb, multiple plyo jump boxes of varying heights, rings, battle ropes, Hammer Strength machines for whatever I need, kettlebells, etc. Nothing has ever been broken for me, and of course it's open 24 hours.
I've also appreciated the staff: I had an issue with my subscription due to an error made by the corporate 24h Fitness customer support, and the general manager Brooke took care of it with grace and patience.

The staff and equipment are great. The only large negative is the cleaniness. It was really dirty, until Ray came in today and made the whole place incredibly clean and sanitary.
Ray is the bomb. If this guy ran the whole cleaning division, this place would be true 5 star gym. Someone give this guy the promotion, he's earned it from what I witnessed today!

This location is not as well kept but is 24 hours. It's a bit dirty and it has sewer flies , but still over it is a good gym. The UCF location is better cleanliness wise and with a larger set of machines and equipment . Apopka has more standard machines where as UCF has more Hoist brand machines. I've only gotten a severe skin infection from the winter park location.

I frequented here from 2017-2019. Last week I went back and it has severely gone downhill. Rusted machines, broken windows with tape on them, lack of cleaning, broken equipment, missing grips on machines. It’s sad to see. I was informed by staff that corporate is focused more on sales that maintenance. Plenty of other nicer gyms for the same price in the area. A sad day indeed.
