Captain John agreed to take the two of us and our dog on a two hour nature cruise around the Bay. We had a fabulous afternoon aboard his boat. Even though it was a bit breezy and there were some waves he kept us in calmer water so the ride didn’t get too wet or rough. He took us to several different areas in search of marine life and we were thrilled to see dolphins, rays, fish, and a wide variety of birds. He shared his extensive knowledge of the history, geography and ecology of the area, making the trip even more interesting.

Capt. John provided a fun day of fishing a few years back. He demonstrated a great knowledge of Tampa Bay and we explored a few locations until we found some fish. It wasn't a day of monsters, but it was productive with a lot of species caught including snook, jack, redfish, sea trout, flounder, and even a little gar.Capt. John was extremely professional and was a lot of fun to be around for the day. We enjoyed his services and I'd highly recommend him if you're in the Apollo Beach, FL, area and looking for a fishing guide.

Captain John is awesome. He took us out in early December. We caught lots of fish and a wide variety. He is very knowledgeable of the bay and how to successfully fish the flats. We highly recommend him for your charter fishing in Tampa Bay.

My wife and I recently chartered a half day trip with Capt. John. It was our first time doing an inland fishing trip and it was a great experience. We caught quite a few fish, 50-60, and 8 different species. Capt. John knows the waters and where to find the fish. Next time we're in Tampa we'll find time to go again. It was well worth the money. Thanks Capt. John.

I called Captain John on a whim to schedule a trip the following day. There was no hesitation in his voice confident with the weather and recommended that we depart a little later than a normal early departure of 05 because of the tide. Once we got out and started dropping lines we barely can keep them in the water because we were constantly having to take a fish off the hook! Captain John was able to put us on fish within one minute dropping anchor in multiple locations throughout our trip. The best part about the entire trip was on our way back in we ran into a school of jack crevalle. Captain John actually stop the boat and told us to drop lines as fast as we could. We hooked up immediately and brought in a couple more just for fun. I would enthusiastically highly recommend you contact this local Apollo Beach captain if you have never hooked up in less than five minutes on a charter boat. John I will definitely be in touch with you again and again thanks for the awesome time that you provided to me and my friends! Looking forward to hitting you up when stripers are screaming.

I've been out fishing with Capt. John many times now. Every time it has been a great experience. He knows where to take us to get us on the bite depending on the time of year and tide. My most recent trip (Feb. 18) yielded a sizable catch of snapper, speckled trout, silver trout and sheepshead.Previous trips targeted Snook, Grouper and mackerel, all very successful. I wouldn't fish the Bay with anyone else!
