When ordering one prescription I go in to pick up and they tell me they have four ready for me, I said I don’t want four I want just the one that I ordered, new person behind the counter. Didn’t know how to return medication back into stock after waiting 15 minutes in line on a Friday there was probably 10 or 15 people behind me waiting, finally I sign for my medication when I got home I realized I had possibly signed for all four, fast-forward a month. I call in another prescription. They will not fill it they said I’ve already picked it up,, Crystal, the pharmacist is useless as trying to solve a problem, I am a cancer patient when I showed up with a prescription for pain medication. I got the third degree asking me if it was from a pain doctor I said no it’s from my primary care doctor that I’ve had 14 years, after telling me that they Will not carry that drug in their store after I call Publix at Moffitt,. They call over there and magically. It appears constantly going to pick up medication lately and them telling me that it’s already been picked up that I signed for it,, I did sign for it because the Person didn’t know how to put it back into stock I was there to pick up the one I had ordered,, I have the auto refill turned off, they actually did it for me and still, I would get multiples,,I have to repeat that story every time I go in there, I want to have little business cards made up so I can just hand it to them. I’m tired of repeating the story,,I was there last month. The girl gave me the wrong medication. She was so busy and being a new girl she didn’t know what to do as far as putting the medication back,, I stepped to the side and she was trying to get a free moment to help me after all that, the issue with the medication saying that I had already picked it up a month earlier popped up AGAIN, So I explained the story but I just said never mind, I will just pay for it,, I don’t care. I don’t wanna hold up everyone in line that’s waiting behind me to figure how to fix the problem,, not her fault,, it’s just she was not trained properly and they left her by herself on a busy night, I don’t want to be standing at the pearly gates when God asked me,,
(if that’s where I’m going) lol
I don’t want to say that I was trying to get my medication at Publix straightened out AGAIN… Everyone’s time is valuable, I get it ,,but Some people’s clocks are ticking a little faster then others,, like when you have stage four cancer like I do, I don’t want to have to deal with Crystal anymore, after explaining the problem to her more than once, there’s nothing She can do to fix it,, Even though I called my insurance company, they tell me it was signed for, and here I go again, explaining the story to them, but again there’s nothing they can do,, Because it falls back into crystals lap, she is head pharmacist she should be able to straighten it out Considering it’s their system that keeps my medication coming, even though I don’t order it, I guarantee you my insurance company has paid for medication I never received… my chemo drugs come from CVS Specialty,, I will take my 12 or 14 medication‘s to CVS and be done with it….BFB

All the last times they told me that I need to come back later, it doesn’t matter if I picking up days later after the prescription was send by the doctor

This pharmacy improved my quality of life, and undid years of stress I have experienced dealing with uncaring pharmacists. They went above and beyond to help me. And saved me from the nightmare that is CVS. Sadly CVS is the norm for most pharmacies, rude, uncaring, and worst of all- dishonest with their customers.at Publix , every employee has been polite, caring, & most importantly, they do what they say. And you can trust the information they give as the honest truth,& not just a way to blow off a customer in need. I wish every pharmacy treated their customers as well as this Publix Pharmacy does. I am so grateful to have found them. I hope others in need, find their way to this oasis of good people. I am extremely grateful I found them.

They sit on prescriptions and can't be bothered to call and tell you if there is an issue. They just wait for you to call them. Oh, and what pharmacy closes at 2pm for lunch ? Customer service is dog doo doo. It's obvious Publix doesn't give a hoot.

Absolutely BEST Pharmacy I’ve ever experienced! Not just saying that because it’s conveniently located walking distance from my house but because I have NEVER had any issue with ANY of the pharmacy staff making my prescription experience negative - EVER! The pharmacist & techs are always friendly even when lines are long, super accommodating to health insurance and quantity issues. Keep you very informed of important refill dates. Treat you with professional respect every time and make you feel like a real customer and go over and beyond to accommodate your sensitive health issues. I haven’t gone anywhere else in over 5 years !

I transferred my prescription to Publix Pharmacy approximately 5 months ago. It was supposed to be on auto refill and has never been on auto refill. Every month I have to constantly call and ask for it to be refilled. Today I called and asked why it wasn't refilled and I was told by the pharmacy that I am out of refills and they sent the request to my doctor's office on the 7th. This is a medication that I cannot miss more than two doses of. When I asked why I wasn't notified they could not reach my Dr, because I could have called the doctor's office, there was no response and said they were going to try today. Today is Saturday and the doctor's office is closed. That means I will go four days without my medication and it will cause problems. I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

One unhappy worker with the initial "V" was as rude as she could be today. The pharmicist mouthed its ok (like I am sorry). Never have Publix employees been rude.Like today. I will be sure not to shop at that pharmacy.

I’ve only had issues at this pharmacy. First when trying to transfer a prescription they said they tried to call my previous pharmacy and they said I didn’t have a prescription. I called and was told…I have a prescription. Call them back and suddenly they see it. Today I went in for a flu shot. The women says it’s not covered. I’ve been getting flu shots at Publix for the last 4 years with the same insurance, I know it is covered. 45 minutes later I found out they were running the wrong insurance number even though I gave them the card. This is only after I called my insurance myself and was told my number was never run to begin with. Not a very competent team.

I’m underwhelmed by this pharmacy and increasingly so with Publix overpriced and underperforming stores, particularly this one. I just moved to this area and was a long time customer of a Publix where I just came from. This Publix pharmacy in no way matches up to my previous Publix pharmacy. They are slow and their customer service is poor. They almost make you feel like your bothering them. After their most recent debacle of abandoning customers as Ian approached I’ll be finding another pharmacy. When you accept a job in a certain field there are sacrifices you should make. Getting people their medications is critical. They made no effort to warn / prepare customers. They just slammed their doors on us.High prices better be matched by world class customer service.Publix is the most expensive of all supermarket / pharmacy. Just know you’ll pay more here than anywhere else. The service lags behind the price. The mobile app, DREADFUL!

I would like to say that I was helped by Vade this afternoon and I felt so incredibly bad for the abuse she was dealing with by the awful customers around me. I was standing in line not even 60 seconds and the elderly man behind me - not giving me 6 ft of space - said over my shoulder - "are you in line?" Now I was obviously in line, but I said yes anyway, he then said, "well you should go up there or they will not know you are here." Which I replied - " I am going to wait until she is ready and calls me, she is fully aware that there is a line, and please give me some space." I saw Vade helping the front, and running to the drive through. If anything they were not staffed for the day, but that is not on her. In conclusion, Vade handled herself very well, better than I did. I'm in my 40's and I think it's very sad the lack of patience these older people have, and where do you need to be right now? Why are you in such a rush? He was literally there for no more than 3-4 minutes and he was huffing and puffing and hitting the counter. I even said to the elderly lady beside me, "sometimes you just need to be patient." Why do I need to tell this to someone who is much older than me??!? Be patient, and be kind to the person behind the counter. Learn some manners. You are not as important as you think you are.

The pharmacy staff was rude and basically ignored me. When the guy finally came to the window he just said DOB? I also asked the status of 2 other scripts and without even looking he said oh yeah it’s just hard to get I really can’t explain it! I moved my prescriptions there just for convenience since I’m always in that store however I have no choice but to move it back to Walgreens!
