I was in a total panic when I discovered a nail in my tire and realized it was nearly flat, especially with the shop about to close. I honestly thought I was out of luck. When I explained the situation to Kristie, the service advisor, she immediately showed genuine empathy and went out of her way to help. The mechanics quickly patched my tire and filled it with air, completely free of charge. So appreciative of their willingness to help so last minute!”

“Pablo and Brad repaired my 2017 Pacifica van after I hit something in the road that fell of a truck. Replaced the trans cooling unit plus some body work. They also repaired my 2013 Hyundi Sonata. Stopped shifting gears and had it toaded to their shop on HWY 41. Fixed it fairly quickly. Not cheap but reasonable and quick. Very professional.”

“Discovered a nail on the shoulder of my tire, which I knew couldn’t be plugged. Needed to get two tires to match. They took my Ranger right in, same day, and gave me a great deal on tires and labor. Waited maybe twenty minutes at most. No sales shenanigans either. Very busy place, but they find a way to get things done.”
“Great auto repair shop with good communication and fast turnaround time. I needed my radiator filler neck replaced. O'Reillys sold me the part, but their guys couldn't do the replacement in their parking lot and limited tools, so they sent me to Lightning. LIghtning was happy to perform the service as well as a tune up of the car. They gave a good estimate, and then they called me when the work was done and an assessment of other services overdue. I'd happily return.”
“Mark is an absolute legend. I called at 8:03 a.m. on a Saturday after a holiday, and he actually answered the phone unlike every other business. I explained what I needed, and he told me to stop by before he left at 10. I got there at 9 and was out the door by 10. No BS
Mark is amazing both personally and professionally. He’s like that wise uncle who’s full of knowledge and truly a master of his craft. I asked him to install a Valvetronic system on my 5.0 a completely random project and he knocked it out flawlessly. He had to custom-fit the valence, tips, elbows, welds, and hang the new system, all at a very fair price. 10/10 experience all around. I’ll definitely be back and will be recommending him to everyone.

“I recently took my car to Sonny's Tire and Automotive after my dealership told me I'd need to replace my rear brakes soon, quoting me around $600 for the job. I decided to get a second opinion, and I am so glad I chose Sonny's!
When I arrived, I was helped by Jason Smargon (Assistant Manager) and Armando Vazquez (Shop Manager). They were both incredibly professional and took the time to put my car up on the lift to thoroughly inspect the brakes. To my pleasant surprise, they came back and told me that my brakes and rotors were perfectly fine – not brand new, of course, but still had plenty of life left in them for a while.
What truly impressed me was their honesty and transparency. They easily could have pushed for a sale, but instead, they prioritized giving me accurate information. They even went a step further, assuring me that if I were to need brakes down the line, they could easily beat the dealership's $600 quote by a couple hundred dollars.

“I stopped by Millennium Tire Service Friday morning — the day after Christmas — with a nail in my tire on the LollyPop mobile. Brayden took care of me right away and had the tire plugged and ready to go in about 20 minutes. Super quick, super easy.
The best part? They only charged $15. You really can’t beat that.

From a customer‘s perspective I feel they are content with the Footprint they have and the constant stream business they have. They have no interest in up charging you, selling you services you don’t need, or anything in between. They are straight up. If they can’t fix it it’s no charge. By far, the most refreshing experience with a mechanic you’ll ever have. Probably the most refreshing customer experience You will have this year.”

We had brake work completed. Using the "Early Bird" box I was able to drop my car off in the morning before work and had it back just after lunch. I had brakes, rotors and a sway bar replacement. I have been going to TAS for over 13 years for my car repairs. This is the only place for me in SouthShore!”
