Please be careful if you go, especially if you are a person of color Denise falsely accuses women of stealing, targets them, and then harasses them. This employee goes against every ethic and moral that is set by this company

As a long time ULTA consumer, I am very disappointed to hear about the racial bias that took place at your location. If an Experience Manager (Denise) is unable to treat ALL customers with dignity and respect, she needs to seek other employment opportunities. This is very disheartening, as I am in Florida on vacation and will not be visiting this location.

Denise , the manager of this location has been accused of racial harassment and discrimination, and got a frequent and honest customer legally banned from this Ulta, because Denise profiled her during her shopping experience and put her life in danger by calling the police . We do not need people like this working in the beauty industry it can put POC’s lives at risk. Shame on you, Denise .

Do not shop as this location. There have been allegations of discrimination and harassment made by a loyal customer, lead by the Experience Manager, Denise, and her staff.

I knew I felt something was off at this location but when I read the most recent comments, I knew I wasn’t too far off. I don’t typically visit this location but I definitely won’t be returning because they were too fixated on my movements than all the others walking around the store. Although, I got the help I needed having store workers and security randomly pop up every time you turn a corner was weird. The cashier seemed nervous checking me out because I specifically told her I didn’t want to use my points but she applied them anyways. Unnecessary implicit bias behavior!

The way the comments on Denise have disappeared is very interesting. I hope that this Ulta and every Ulta has become more strict with how they handle racism! Absolutely disgusting, embarrassing, and shameful.

As a native Floridian and Ulta cunsumer I was extremely disappointed to hear that an African American woman experience racism while shopping in this store and the employee is still employed there. Denise O., the manager of the store did not handle the situation professionally, and opted to call the police on people who caused no harm or disruption. Hearing that the victim in this situation is now banned from shopping at this store is very disappointing. I pray that this situation is investigated further and disciplinary action is taken on the employees involved.

Women of color can’t shop in peace because of a hateful woman name Denise. I will never Ulta since they want to hire hateful women

i pray the rumors of racism are not true! i frequent this location, but have since seen a viral video indicating claims of discriminatory practices! Address this matter by firing denise and reinstating that innocent patrons ability to presume business with you all.

The store wasn't busy at all when I visited, yet I had to wait for service when I entered the store and when it was time to check out. I can't imagine how inefficient they are when busy.

We were shopping at DSW next door, and my young daughter wanted to go into Ulta to buy some bath items. When checking out I was asked if I had a some Ulta rewards, I said no and I wasn't interested. I was told I had to have one and then was asked for my email address, phone number, physical address, I said can't I just buy these products and leave, she again said you have to sign up for the rewards program. This kind of B.S. is why I will never shop here ever again, I left our merchandise on the counter and walked out.
