Neat store with a lot of friendly staff. Many tools and jigs to make your woodworking journey easier. Some things are priced very well, but many are overpriced. Overall, it is a great store for tools, books, ideas, and materials.

I drove about an hour and a half in very heavy traffic from my home to the Rockler store in Altamonte Springs in order to return a lathe chuck which was suggested to me the last time I was at the store. It turned out that the chuck through no fault of anyone was the wrong model and in order to use it an adapter had to be purchased. The employee there immediately offered to credit my account for the returned chuck but advised that this model could be used with an adapter. The adapter, of course, cost more but I bought it in order to try it out and then drove back home. At home I reconsidered the adapter requirement and decided to return the chuck and adapter and purchase the correct chuck for my lathe, the one that does not need an adapter. So, I contacted Rockler by phone to get authorization to mail the parts back to Rockler for a refund pursuant to their generous sounding return policy which is promoted on most of their publications. It turns out that the policy is NOT so generous since any items purchased in one of their stores has to be physically returned to that store for a refund; nor can one even mail the item back to the store for credit because the employees there are not allowed to issue a refund to one's credit card account unless you are there in person. It was known that I had driven to the store from a distant location through Orlando traffic, so why don't they tell you about this unusual policy compared to other competitors of theirs?Notwithstanding the fact that the employees at the store are great and what is available at the store in inventory is almost great (but for chuck choices, ha), I will never go to this store in the future because of its antiquated return policies which causes a lot of hardship to its out-of-town customers. Ended up paying $45 for a board priced at $35 and that was after a 20% discount coupon was applied. I did not notice the discrepancy until I was 1 hour away.

Planned a pre-valentine day knife making class at Rockler and it was awesome. 3-4 hour class with an expert craftsman to guide you through creating and making a custom wood knife handle. An added plus was keeping the knife. Great service, excellent class, and memories that will last a lifetime.

My first time in a Rockler store, always having to buy online. Very friendly and professional folks that helped me buy a Sawstop table saw. Thanks to Steve, George, and the store manager Pat. Appreciate all your help.

This place is where you go when you are PASSIONATE about your project and are looking for those fun, cool, much needed higher end items the “big box” chain stores cannot supply. Beautiful options of wood….and my ultimate favorite, THE BOX of cut off pieces of exotic wood (sold by the pound), which I used for customizing my Skoolie. Those STUNNING fine details to all of my hard work were only made possible due to Rockler. I love this place.

I'm very impressed with the store and their service level. I'm up in Ocala so the drive has to be worth it. And I found everything I needed for my current projects as well as plenty of other stuff. Special shoutout to Jen, who helped introduce me to some new turning equipment and kept an eye out for me with product suggestions based on what she saw me getting. The whole experience was amazing and I only wish they weren't 90 minutes away.

I absolutely love this place and their staff are highly trained in their field as well. I took a class there on making mini rivertables and learned some very beneficial tricks to the trade. Thank you.
