Absolutely disgusted by the new location. Horrible layout from the parking lot all the way through the store. Literally saw 3 disabled people almost get hit because handicap parking is FARTHER away from the then it should be. Very difficult to access anything cold/frozen unless you have two good hands. And the front end "coordinator" Ryan lumbers around like a bull in a china shop. Ryan almost ran me over twice and actually did collide with another customer because Ryan is too damn busy bouncing around singing to herself. She also tried to force me to use self checkout going so far as to try and grab my cart and physically force me in that direction. When I refused, she was like, "Self checkout isn't that hard to use. Anyone can learn it, even you. I'll show you how easy it is." I had to jerk my cart away and raise my voice to get that idiot away from me. What the hell was Publix thinking bringing in idiots like this when the Jamestown location had an excellent team already in place?!?! As I was loading my car, I saw another two near collisions in the parking lot within 3 minutes of each other. I strongly encourage everyone to avoid this location.

This new store which replaced the old Jamestown store, is very nice. It's open it's beautiful, as a nice balcony to eat food from the deli. And of course Publix customer service is always top rate. Kudos Publix for a great opening and a great store.

It's a great new store. 48,000+ sq ft. Plenty of items to buy. The store features an island deli and self checkout. Very friendly and helpful employees. Five stars!

1 mile away another Publix is listing the SAME PRODUCTS at a LESSER PRICE. 1st time, I've ever seen prices of chips at MSRP, but there are too many examples to count.Corporate members were blocking areas while they engaged with lower level employees instead of attending to customers.I shop at Publix often as a veteran with disability BECAUSE it doesn't trigger my medical issues as much knowing I will be paying the additional pricing but intentionally hyperinflating the already higher prices to justify a "new store" that was built across the street from an older location isn't the way forward.I will unfortunately be shopping at Aldi for ⅓ the prices. I simply can not afford Whole Food Prices at my local Publix as a 100% disabled veteran during this economy. I support your freedom to set your own prices but feel this intentionally price guaging will not include those who already struggle to make ends meet, and this is where freindly meets economic reality.I also want to add that ALL other reviews show a conflict of interest and should be taken down as how can you review a store that isn't yet open unless you are an employee of this store?

Amazingly new fresh design built from the ground up, Everything here is much more organized and easy to find compared to other nearby Publix's, If you're at all confused where anything is, There will be a flyer handed out first week or so with a map for everything:)

Publix is always good, no matter the store.
