Poor communication. You can never get them on the phone. They sent me docs, gave 0 instructions, and then "fired us" even though they had been paid. Still can't get ahold of them. Pompous people peddling 401k's that cost you more in fees than anything.

Do NOT work with these guys. They have horrible customer service and never answer the phones. They sent a packet a few months ago and on its face, it just looks like reports or something not wildly important. I got a certified letter in the mail that is corporate speak for them firing us because we never signed an IRS document that is due in 2 months. They have been paid by us for years and I was winding this down. Through all of the years they were really bad at answering the phone, but I was running a business and had bigger fish to fry and didn't feel the need to move companies. Could I have done a better job understanding the exacts of this, yes! Are they pompous and unhelpful, yes! Is this a company that I would hire to handle;e anything, NO. This is the old type of company that thinks they are too big to fail and can treat people how they want. I would NOT hire them if you're looking into it. It is just a greedy hand all over your money that pretty much just looks down on you and won't even answer the phone. 1/10.

FABULOUS - My company has been with PICO for a few years and we couldn't be more pleased. Brenda Wren is my account manager and she is wonderful. She is immediately responsive, completely knowledgable of all the latest laws and rules, and explains everything thoroughly. I highly recommend PICO!
