I purchased a La-Z-Boy rocker recliner in November 1984 and still have it. I have never had a problem with it. The cushions and foam are wearing very thin so it’s time to get a new one. I purchased a La-Z-Boy rocker Recliner yesterday at the Altamonte Springs store. The Sales staff were very professional and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions about Lazy boy recliners. All the salespeople I dealt with were courteous and professional. I found exactly what I was looking for and received a fair price. Jean was especially pleasant to deal with; he explained everything in detail. Great job!

First of all we had a great saleswoman by the name of Sandy. She was very Knowledgeable about the LazyBoy chair as to what fit us and didn’t. We had a very good experience in the store and would recommend this store if you are looking for great selection and sales

My daughter bought a $5000 sectional in 2017. Within the first year of buying it, the back of the loveseat portion of the sectional broke and they had it repaired through LazyBoy and had to pay money for the service call. The construction of that piece is defective because there is no support along the back, hence if broke again, now in 2 places and the seat on the chaise seat caved in on one side (structural frame). So she called today to get these issues repaired only to be told, after she sent them pictures, that it was unrepairable. She had purchased the additional warranty when she bought it because she paid a lot of money for the couch and was told it was a lifetime warranty and would be replaced if it couldn’t be repaired. 20 years or whatever came first is what she was told. This unit is 7 years old. She was told in writing today that they will not replace it because of “in home damage is not considered manufacturing and therefore does not qualify for replacement. Also she states that anything and everything is not covered unfortunately .”They do not jump up and down on the back of their furniture. This was broke within the first year of ownership and now because of a manufacturing problem it has broken again. Never again would I purchase a LazyBoy, they lie and their warranties are worthless and it states that it’s up to their discretion to honor the warranty! Buyers Beware!
Update: I was told today by a corporate rep, that the store in Altamonte is not a corporate owned store and therefore corporate headquarters is of no help.

Update: filed a complaint, same answer.the quality of LazyBoy is not what it used to be. We went and bought a $300 couch sectional with chaise and low and behold it is a Lazy Boy. Ticket on it is stamped that couch is 21 years old. Zippered cushions covers we took off and washed, no structural damage, it’s in great shape. Solid construction, built to last, back then yes, but not anymore.
