“I went in the Dollar Tree in Apopka looking for magnetic clips I had seen online. Evidently, this local store didn't have them. But, I want to give a big kudos to Liz who took a few minutes of her day to try to pin down my item. The store is changing things around and she walked with me to look in a few departments. I wanted to give a good word about her to the manager, but found she IS the manager. Lol. I hope Liz's boss sees this review. Liz was very helpful and thorough and pleasant. Thank you Liz!!!”

“This dollar tree is one of the best on town. I hear customers saying it multiple times on a daily basis. What we do not allow is people with multiple bags stalking the aisles to steal. Which happens a lot and we don’t even do anything about that most times. People get mad when they’re asked to leave basically their whole lives at the Register, so they are unable to steal. It’s protocol! We are allowed to watch people shop, we are entitled as a company to make it as uncomfortable for these people who bring in backpacks and backpacks into the store. I’m taking a cart full of back packs. People claim they have the money and don’t need to steal, yet the woman who commented above states the employee PAID HER 50 cent difference. We do not have to do that for customers in any way shape or form!!! We do that out of the generosity of our hearts and it comes out of our own pockets! For some lady to feel singled out about wondering through a store for over an hour and being watched because she refuses to leave her bags up front is her own fault. You can at least say THANK YOU , for covering your bill! People are entitled, and believe they can just treat our company as a yard sale. EVERYONE STEALS, and they walk out with a slap on the wrist. If anything at all. The only ones who would complain about this protocol are the ones who didn’t get away with stealing. ??♀️”

(Kevin To) ruins the Kevin name for me as well hard to work with the, laziness, carelessness, and Uncompliant behavior. Just doing my due diligence preventing slander/defamation, and stolen credibility to me. Everything else okay ?I like working here and love working with the staff. it ain’t much but it’s honest work. Except Kevin To… everyone else is awesome and easy to work with. “Dollar Generals have been popping up all over and seem to serve areas where retail opportunities are few. I really like their mobile phone application and the digital coupon deals. The past few months they have offered a $5 off $25 good only on Saturday. Earlier this year I was on a weekend trip in Deland and stopped at a Dollar General to pick up some required items. Hunting for what I needed allowed me to observe that they carry a wide variety of merchandise and groceries. I was able to pickup charcoal plus some other pantry staples. Back at home I realized that the Dollar General on Orange Avenue near Taft is a great place to save money. I shop here for laundry detergent and household needs, paper products and seasonal items. The savings are many times lower than the coupon deals at Walgreens or CVS. A couple tips with the app is that be sure you choose the location where you are shopping. Prices do vary and occasionally they will offer 50 pct off clearance at select locations. You can hit the bar code near the top and scan an item. It will show the price and if there are any digital coupons that will attach. In store you will likely need to connect to their free customer WiFi to successfully connect on the app. You can stack manufacturer coupons with the Saturday Coupon but they won't stack $5 off Gain products with the Saturday deal. I usually check the front of the store for clearance. One time I got protein drinks for a great price. Overall the stores are jam packed but this location has good management and they keep the chaos organized. When I shop they have plenty of cashiers, especially on Saturday when they are busy.”

“I Wanted to say that this store has undergone tremendous adjustments. About six months ago, when I started frequenting the store, it was constantly disorganized and cluttered with boxes, making it uncomfortable to move between path ways. I can notice significant differences today because the store is clean, we’ll organized and smells much better and the pathways are clear of boxes. I want to use this opportunity to Thank Everyone who has worked hard and changed this store!”

I was still able to find Valentines Day merch although most stores have moved on the St. Patrick’s Day and Easter, for crying out loud (Dollar Tree had those items too). This Dollar Tree has replaced the old and very dirty one located in the Oviedo Mall. I was also able to find the perfect baby shower greeting card and a couple of sweet gift bags too.”

“This particular Dollar General is a convenient location and can save the residents in this area a trip to either Goldenrod Road and/or East Colonial Drive. This Dollar General has the usual stuff you would expect from a dollar store. Some of the items are decent deals, but some are not really worth the cost even if they were free.The staff was friendly enough. “I like shopping at any dollar general location, the only thing I don't like is how they always have so much inventory all over the place half the time. They have started updating with U-Scan registers now so if you get stuck behind that one person who has that one coupon they have to argue about because they didn't read all the info. You can now skip around them and check your self out and keep it moving!”
