They took very good care of my mom and I as we brought my 17 year old rat terrier Cookie in. It was a sad experience, and they walked us through the whole process. They even sent a card signed by all the staff which brought me to tears! I appreciate them so much and would recommend them to anyone in need of services! ?

Dr. Larkins and the team are incredibly friendly and professional. We will only take our fur babies to Altamonte Veterinary Hospital. The care plan keeps our babies up to date with their vaccinations, annual testing, and flea treatment, and provides us with ease of mind.

Doc Larkins is the most reputable veterinarian I've ever had the planet for working with. I drive 160 mi round trip to go to his his clinic because I trust him completely. He truly cares about the animals ?

Great veterinarian. Great prices. We are breeders of miniature Dachshunds and he was recommended by a fellow breeder. He gave our entire litter check ups deworming, first shots, and certificates of health for considerably less than any other veterinarian in the Orlando area. I know because I called each of them to get pricing. He's been a veterinarian for a very long time and is great with animals. He is now our official vet. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone who's looking for a good vet at a good price

I found this place during the pandemic, I was grateful for them to look at a feral cat that had a eye scratched in a fight. As time went on I began to use them for my dogs. The Doc was a Parrot lover. I thought, oh great me too. But his staff, Judy the OM made it clear to me she/they hated birds, Strike #1! Reading these comments on how the Dr Larkin doesn't wear masks. Reminded me of how Katelyn specifically told me I have to wear a mask. I was fully vaccinated at the time and told her so. Her answer was "it doesn't matter, we have an immune compromised employee". So I go in masked and none of them are even wearing a mask, Strike#2! My elderly rescue Dachshund was having some sever pain issues, Dr Larkin said it was his teeth. OK, so he removed 13. The bigger problem was never in his teeth. IVDD and it returned with a vengeance 10/2022. He gave him some shots. ( he did warn me he had a heart murmur and it might not go well) I had to have him put down three days later. (Internal hemorrhaging) Fast forward to 1/2024 So I stopped by to talk to Judy the OM on Monday but she was out with a family emergency. Three of the staff were standing up front chit chatting.( whom I have never seen before or dealt with) I wanted to get my new Mini Dachshund puppy in for his last series of shots. So I called on Wed and Katelyn answered. The OM is still out. At that point I asked for Katelyn's help figuring out the date she rudely responded "unfortunately you will have to bring in the paper work" my response was "I WAS IN THERE MONDAY"! I told her how rude she was, then her tune changed. She said let me know the dates. My response was; never mind, I will find another Vet! Strike #3! Katelyn has got to be the rudest condescending unprofessional receptionist anyone could hire! I found another Vet with very professional staff who answered all my questions, and set up the appointment over the phone. I really tried to like these people and I overlooked a lot of the rude comments made by the OM. There were way more things I would have liked to have written. Go somewhere else!

This place absolutely filthy. The receptionist was extremely rude with a horrible attitude. Not only are they disgusting, Dr. Larkins failed to do his job and as a result killed my eight month old Blue Merle Golden doodle when she went in for a simple spay. All three of my other dogs underwent the same operation with two of them on the older side and all came out perfectly fine. After the initial shock of my puppy dying, I decided to look into the clinic and Dr. Larkins and I found that he got his license suspended and fined a couple years ago. I suggest you NEVER bring your pet here and look elsewhere, there are so many better veterinary clinics around that can get the job done correctly. I hope someone inspects this clinic with great care so that they can see how horrible of a place this is. So please do not risk your pets life by coming here, pay whatever price you need to because at the end of the day they are your babies and paying a high price is better than losing one of your babies. I don’t care about the other great reviews here, this is the truth about how this place really is.
