I chose Ability because they were substantially cheaper than the hospital. They designed a series of exercises and stretches for my back rehab, and helped me with printouts so I could continue at home.I worked with several different therapists, but each reviewed the notes from the others so they could continue the design of my exercises.The exercises I tried before trying rehab were just general advice that I got off the internet. When I went to rehab and started working with therapists, it finally started helping.

At 71, I broke my wrist. I was in different casts for three months and not only bc was my hand and wrist still mangled, I had intense pain. I went to the best known. Rehabilitation facility in my area. Just to get an assessment I had to wait a month and drive 35 miles away. I’m not that crazy. Then I found Ability RehabilitationIn Altamonte Springs, Florida. Amazing. They could get me in the next day for the assessment and the following day for Occupational Therapy. From the very moment I entered the facility I knew this facility was for me. The young lady at the reception desk was pleasant and very helpful. Then I met Kevin the OT. He’s AMAZING. He took an old lady and turned her life around. He made me work, but never forced me to do anything that was painful. I owe all of my progress to Kevin and his kind understanding of what I needed. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’ve been working the team, Davis and Jennifer for about six weeks. The are miracle workers. The fixed a back problem one had for 3 years. I did not want to take medication for the pain, working with the team has resolved my back pain completely!! I’m so happy I was lucky enough to get with these professionals. I would recommend going to them for any help needed. Love to much more but what can I say except that the are magnificent miracle workers. Way to go everyone in the office, they are so nice and so very helpful.

All are very knowledgeable and professional while creating a safe, warm and comfortable atmosphere.It is 2 years ago when l posted the above review and l’m updating it with another 5 stars +. I am currently receiving Therapy at this same location for spine issues-arthritis in spine, osteoporosis, and scoliosis! Over 15 years l have received treatment for a nerve tumor in my leg, a knee replacement, and now this age related issue with this crippling spinal nerve pain. I can’t recommend this facility enough for giving the best treatment possible again. THE BEST!!!!

Called for appointment and gave insurance info. When I arrived for appointment was told their practice was not included in my insurance plan.Wasted a trip.

Great Rehab facility; Staff was first rate, Bonnie was very knowledgeable with spine and back concerns. Staff from front office to therapist were friendly and welcoming, but even slightly more important my back and arm strength increased in their care and I was able to return to work. Kudos Ability Altamonte!!!

I’ve been going to Ability for a while already. They helped improved my strength, balance and pain. The ladies are friendly, caring and knowledgeable. Sharon and Jen are the best. I would definitely recommend Ability to anyone.
