I drove from pc skipping stores bc I needed Dollar general. I pull up w 10 mins to spare b4 they close and they locked the door as I walked up even seeing me and it being b4 10 pm . No other store was open the whole way home . Had to wait til morning .

Their shelves are always bare. Rude foreign employee needs to be fired since she doesn't want to do her job. A customer had to ask her to wait on her. And when I asked if they had a medicine item that they always seem out of. She complained that there was a whole load of stuff to be stocked but she was the only one there because others were out and she couldn't do everything by herself and she has a family and needs to go home. So I had to drive up to the Alford DG to find what I needed and guess what there was only one person working there too but he was respectful and doing his job. Hire people who will work

Very rude manager on the morning of 12/16 in a completely non-confrontational situation. Simply asked why a sale item didn't ring up correctly. Was accused of not reading the sign correctly...and I did.

My only complaint about this store is the self check-out machine does not always work. Bathrooms are clean and secure, and the store is reasonably clean. Can get busy in the afternoons and around lunch time on the weekends/holidays.

What can I say it's dollar general. Saves a trip to Walmart. I love the big rows I can fit with my scooter and a buggy next to me. Very friendly and very clean. Ok so the update on this store dollar general 914 lakepoint rd alford. Well it's a thumbs ? this store has stayed clean , well stocked , very bright makes you feel good to shop here , and the customer service is on point very positive and polite. NOW ALL IT NEEDS IS MEAT DEPARTMENT NOW with THAT UP GRADE we can pass out walmart . We live in a fountain, and we call this our dollar general. We do not claim the others. It saves us on money shopping here then going all the way to Walmart. But with a meat department up grade by by Walmart ?

Can't go in this store because of a employee that work's there. Shame I live 2 miles from it and have to drive over 7 miles to another store. You need to do better background checks on People..
