I went to the Hitchcock plaza today to pick up dinner and was greeted by friendly faces asking my children if they needed backpacks for school. The guys at the store were so kind and respectful to my family. We were offered cold water and cookies in addition to the free backpacks. I called my family and friends to come up and they were met with the same friendliness that my family experienced. I came to publish a raving review especially seeing how two people are so upset at this organization taking one day out of the many days they operate, to truly give back and service the community. I witnessed them helping customers inside the store with phone issues while others were outside with us passing out backpacks. With the love they poured into the families they came across today, if they closed 15 minutes early, they definitely deserved to do so. Sadly, it’s rare for some outspoken individuals to see beyond their own selfish needs but THANK YOU gentlemen for giving back to your community today!

I visited today at 12 when they opened to see if they could help with my phone, but I was turned away. They informed me that they were busy with a backpack giveaway and asked me to return in two hours or drive into Gainesville. I’m a paying customer and expected to be able to have my phone fixed and was surprised when they turned me away.

I drove 30 minutes to replace a broken phone and was greeted at the door 30 minutes before closing time and was told they were closing early. While asking for clarification of where else we could go, one employee was very rude and dismissive while explaining why he wasn't going to stay until 5:00. I'm sorry the registers were turned off, but I would expect them to be available until the advertised time. I didn't need an explanation of why they didn't feel like working a full shift. While asking the other employee if there were other locations that would be open later, the original employee wouldn't stop being confrontational and threatened to call the police. Then some other daralect came and was threatening to fight me and put his hands in my face. I kept explaining I was just trying to get information from the other employee and would leave. I didn't want to deal with some unprofessional trashy BS when they just wanted to leave early.
To that employee...control your dog. To have some pug barking at me and nipping at my ankles while Im trying to address a Verizon issue shows you're not equipped for this type of job.
