I came here because in the middle of rush hour traffic my car decided it was a good time to lose about 90% of its braking ability. Nothing bad happened, thankfully, and I managed to get home (yay for stick shift and hand brake) and this shop was half a mile from my house so I figured it was my safest bet the following morning, instead of driving somewhere further away. The shop owners were courteous and stayed in communication with me throughout the repair. Unfortunately some of the major components of my hydraulic braking system had totally failed and needed replacing but they let me know ahead of time of price estimates and charged a fair amount for a pretty substantial repair to my 2008 Toyota. My brakes work perfectly again and I've been driving a lot this week so I think it's safe to say the repairs were performed well :) I definitely recommend Alachua Tire and Brake if you need anything done for your brakes!

I love that Alachua Tire & Brake is open on Saturday! I desperately needed two new tires and an oil change. I was able to schedule an appointment on a Saturday and get right in. I was surprised at how affordable a synthetic oil change was. I was able to wait for my car to be serviced, and treated fairly and timely. Also, I got a great deal on two new tires! I highly recommend checking them out. Locally owned and affordable, can’t beat that! Thank you Alachua Tire & Brake!
