Just a fantastic experience from start to finish. I dealt with Joshua, the shop manager, and he was patient, gave me several options for our repair (we were paying out of pocket) and worked us into his busy schedule, and the work came out fantastic. I cannot recommend this shop any more highly! Do yourself a favor and support a locally owned High Springs/Alachua business if you need autobody repairs vs. driving to Gainesville for a "corporate" body shop. Thanks guys!

We gave this business the opportunity to do the right thing prior to writing this review when the discussion of work details was discussed yesterday. Vehicle was taken to this shop for an estimate and was held for 5 days before they were available to do so. They provided us with an estimate for bumper, fender, headlight and shock repair (all drivers side). The shop was questioned about other repairs we felt were necessary, but they did not and were not included in the estimate given. We decided that the shop was not the right place to have the car repaired. We were charged $200 for an estimate (an estimate cost was never mentioned to us the entire time they had the car) which they said would have been included in the repair cost if we chose this shop. When my husband took the tire off the car at home and started to evaluate things that were not included on the estimate, he found that the fender was never actually removed from the car. He went to the shop and questioned them about it, and he was told that they did in fact remove the fender. My husband called BS and was then informed that they only took off the very front of the fender, the bumper and headlight to see behind them. The fender took the brunt of the damage, but that piece was never fully removed from the car, and you still charged $200 for an estimate? The shop then stated they should have charged MORE for the estimate. More to remove a bumper, a headlight and the front of a fender? We felt that due to the lack of accuracy and transparency in the estimate, we were owed a portion of our money back. The shop refused. We always want to support small businesses. Paying that much for an estimate was outrageous, considering the estimate was not accurate in what was needed. Paying for an estimate is not the issue; the quality of the estimate and the unprofessionalism of the business is the issue. The shop also stated that the fender could not be removed without the bumper being removed. My husband said yes it can; there is a bolt you can access from underneath to remove the fender. The shop tried to argue with him about it, staying they took apart, they would know how to do it. My husband said I took it a part myself and that's exactly how he did it. So they focused on the front end of the car when the majority of the damage was the drivers side fender. They told us not to return to their shop, and we had no intention of ever doing so. My opinion is that this place has high reviews as they must deal more with insurance companies for repairs, and no one confronts them on questionable and unprofessionable business practices.

NEVER EVER EVER EVER GO HERE!!!!! SCAMMERS, CHARGED WAY TOO MUCH FOR PARTS, KEPT VEHICLE WAY TOO LONG AND DOOR WAS NEVER FIXED (worked for maybe a week)!!!!!!!

John is AMAZING! I got into an accident (which was not my fault) back in November and he took care of EVERYTHING! From dealing with the insurance rep and making sure everything was covered! He is so professional, caring, sweet, & above all AMAZING! I would recommend ANYONE to get their car worked out at his place of business! I had the biggest smile when I picked up my car! We were recently involved in a rear end collision in Alachua Florida— our 2020 Chevy Malibu was rear ended— Quite a bit of internal damage done to the trunk area—-we have used John’s Auto Body for service in the past and have been very pleased with their service and this is the only place we even consider now— I highly recommend this business for service.
