Steam Days are held once a month. Ride a standby steamer car and a small steam train. Really nice small museum, beautiful grounds. A nice day out.

The upcoming exhibit promises to be beautiful and fashionable! An amazing collection of Stanley Steamer vehicles and lovely fashions on loan from many museums/ collections around Delaware. A must visit when in New Castle County, Delaware. Wonderful summer camps. Beautiful architecture, park, and landscape.

From Marshall Steam Museum & Friends of Auburn Heights
The Marshall Steam Museum features the world's largest collection of operating Stanley steam cars plus a 1914 Ford Model T, a 1916 electric car, two 1930s Packards, the 1/8-scale Auburn Valley Railroad, an operating Lionel model trains display and so much more.
Nestled in the small town of Yorklyn, Delaware, within Auburn Valley State Park, the museum is operated by the Friends of Auburn Heights, Inc a 501(c)3 non-profit. The museum is open Thursdays and Fridays from 1 to 4 pm (except major holidays, including Good Friday), hosts Steamin' Day events from June - November and provides educational outreach programs.
