I have to give this clinic a one star. My dog has a medial emergency I call to get him seen and it’s like I just get pawn to another veterinarian. I call another veterinarian and they say the same thing which I will be writing another review. Also I’m an existing customer. I just don’t understand why it says on the website if it’s truly an emergency call this number and I do, and I’m told where not doing this try out this vet.

I was very impressed with their facilities and services. They laid a blanketed bed out for Charlie for our appointment. Unfortunately, we were there for the worst. He went out peacefully under great care. That was last Thursday and we received a Condolence card on Tuesday in the mail. Totally unexpected and included a note from the Vet. Above & Beyond care provided here!!!

My dog has been a client here for years, originally a patient of Dr. Epstein. All of a sudden, they are refusing to fill her annual prescription for heartworm and will only prescribe 6 months at a time, which is more expensive. They convinced me to put my dog on heartworm and now are making it more difficult for me to fill refills. They (reception) blamed my dog's vet, Dr. Globerman, which sounded odd. When I requested to speak to her vet, they said they would "page her". They called me back shortly after stating Dr. Globerman confirmed. I demanded to speak directly to Dr Globerman and they admitted she no longer works there ! These people will lie just to be unconvenient, rather than work with their long standing client, who spent thousands there last year. When I told Courtney her manipulation was unacceptable and I should go to another vet, she offered to send me Mia's medical records over trying to work with me to resolve the issue and help meet my needs. Won't be returning here, in addition to their reception staff lying, then lying more to protect their behavior, they have a high turnover for doctors. Third time my pet's doctor QUITS working for WHA.EDIT: I was not given the option to schedule my pet early. I was given no options. I was also never disrespectful to your staff. Your employee is a liar. Your office can't handle criticism.

Sometimes people make stupid mistakes and the mistake I made was I should have never left the care of Wilmington Animal Hospital. Because of my stupidity I started using another vet and because of that. That Vet actually killed my pet. (Long Story) But the care WIlmington Animal Hospital gave my pet Chulo during his remaining hours on this earth was nothing more than sympathetic. This happened on November 2, 2023. Now my house was to quiet without him I was able to get a new pale his name is Chulo III and I won't make the same mistake twice. I will bring him to Wilmington Animal Hospital and never leave them again. 5/2011-11/2/23 Here he is!

I took my kitten here for his first vet appointment. He’s got a couple of issues, including needing surgery, having tapeworms, and early gingivitis. Everyone was so helpful and informative ever single time I’ve interacted with them and you can tell the workers really love animals.I’ve been to a couple of vets in the south Jersey area for my other cat, but this by far was my best experience with a vet.

My dog would come out of the back room shaking like a leaf. He never did that with any other Vet he visited. After noticing that, I became suspicious of how he was being treated behind closed doors.Months later, and after they kept insisting I buy tick meds from them, I finally accepted. I wanted the topical kind but they only have chews. And when I picked them up, the tech gave me tick meds that were meant for xtra large dogs. Benji was a miniature schnoodle. He ended up getting seizures and I had to put him down way too soon. I still fume about what happened to him.I would never trust them with another beloved cat or dog.

Me and my kitties love this vet office! Like seriously, my cats love the vet and vet techs here. And I feel like that's saying something for a cat lol. The staff has been super nice and helpful, and very informative! They treat my kitty girls with care and respect. It's a bit of a drive for me, but the quality of care is worth it. Love from my girls Athena and Willow ?

My little pup Bo and I just moved to Wilmington little over 2 weeks ago. I googled Vets nearby and Wilmington Animal Hospital popped up, I liked the reviews and contacted them because my little guy was having ear problems and allergy issues. I went to their website Sunday Nov 12th and requested for an appointment, they emailed me the next day and asked me to call them to set up an appointment. I did and few hours later they saw my dog. By the time we got there they already got my dog’s vet records from our previous vet. Everyone was so friendly and professional. My pup is home and resting. From the bottom of my heart thank you so much for welcoming us to Wilmington ??.

Only give them a two because the tech and vet were nice. The vet didn't listen to me when I kept telling her the dog didn't injure her ankle. My dog keeps biting her paws and it became infected now her ankle is swollen. She insisted on doing an xray and sending it out cost $500 now they are continuing to test for tick related illnesses, refusing to test for infections related to her broken skin and bacteria . I had to pay for 3 prescriptions for pain but no antibiotics. $1000 they still don't know. Horrible

Excellent doctors, technicians, service. The only drawback is this clinic does not have overnight hospital/emergency services.
