I switched to WhyFly after my Xfinity promo pricing ended, and it was a giant mistake. My experience with WhyFly has actually made me appreciate the “corporate gluten” of Xfinity (to use WhyFly’s own terminology). WhyFly’s internet is slow, and there have been multiple hours-long outages during my workday (I work from home) since switching to WhyFly about six months ago. As I type this now, the internet is out. To make matters worse, when there is an outage, it is impossible to speak with an actual WhyFly customer service employee. You just have to wait it out and hope that the outage is short (which it never is). As of today, I’m done putting up with this. I just contacted Xfinity to restore their service. If you work from home and need reliable internet, DO NOT use WhyFly.

I really wanted to like WhyFly, but their customer service is awful. It took weeks to cancel since they would not answer my calls or email. I even tried to go in person and no one was there. I would not recommend them over xfinity, as sad as that is for me to say…

I really wanted to be able to recommend WhyFly... I appreciate that a local ISP has thrown its hat in the ring, and for over a year I only had occasional minor (15-20 minute) outages. Customer service was always friendly and quick to respond.However, lately, it feels like there are constant outages, both localized and system-wide, and I have started to flirt with other options. A 24+ hour system-wide outage in the age of WFH is just not acceptable, even though I recognize that they have people working round-the-clock to fix it. But until the service becomes more reliable I don't think I can recommend it to others.

You truly get what you pay for!I’m sorry, but the number of outages this company has had on top of the 12 hour ongoing one as of today, 2/8/24, are just too much for me.I work from home, this is absolutely not okay and I will not stand for having my work impeded on just because I wanted to support a local business.

Ive finally gave up on this company. Too many outages and customer service is a euphemism. Switched to xfinity and its only costing $5 more a month. Good riddance. I work from home and im not putting my career on the line to support a local businesses with bad practices.

We, a small business that relies heavily on our phones and internet to work have had WhyFly for a few months now, and they've helped us go from an extremely overpriced IT company. Preston was super helpful with explaining things in a way that made sense. Their customer service is top-tier!! If anything happened they were right over to assist. The price is affordable and the service is exceptional. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND :)

Price is great. Installation was smooth and easy. Unfortunately, I'm moving out of the area, but canceling was also smooth and easy. Some outages throughout my four years of usage, but they were great at keeping us up to date. Wish I could bring them with me!

WhyFly definitely had some kinks at first but I've been with them for 2 years now and it's only gotten better. The customer service is great, I have multiple devices on the wifi and you can't beat the price. With outages, they are great with communication and able to quickly get us back online which is important for me as a remote worker.

I've had service with these guys for years now and it's always been spot on! Super reliable & super affordable! They even answer emails on the weekend (not that I expect it). Everyone there is super (that's 3) knowledgeable & professional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND... best part is that I don't have to shake hands & do business with dopes in the big Thumb Drive shaped building up the road!

I used WhyFly in DE for my Internet needs for over 5 years. Not only were they technologically advanced but also had the best customer service of any internet provider I’ve worked with before. As a small company - WhyFly is able to give that extra attention to the customer that you don’t get with larger service providers. They were even so ethical that they texted and asked whether I still needed the service when my payment was declined. That is the type of customer centric culture that is extremely difficult to build in any organization. If you need an internet service provider in Wilmington DE - WhyFly is by far your best option!

The team at WhyFly is just amazing. They have been my internet provider for over 3 years now and I couldn't be happier. They're customer service is incredible and they are extremely efficient and time conscious. Working from home has been much easier knowing that if there is ever an issue, it will be resolved ASAP. Best bang for your buck too - no need to deal with the big guys, call them first!!!! :)

We try our best to support local. I understand things happen. But in the last months they have been unresponsive when needed and have not provided us with things they have committed to. If you are trying to run a business I would have second thoughts.
