Sadly, this is my neighborhood Walgreens but the service has declined so much in recent years. Its nearly impossible to get a script without going in and standing in a long line. Their drive-thru is usually closed citing that they are always short staffed. I understand that many businesses are suffering from a lack of employees, but it seems to be a priority to have the drive-thru open so that you do not have to stand in line with other people that might be sick, or for those that can't easily get inside. This past week I needed to pickup prescriptions and went two times to try to get them. The drive-thru was closed both times and on one visit the line was over 15 people deep winding out to the cash register. Today, I made my third attempt to go into the store to pick up my scripts but because it had been over a week, they had returned them to their inventory and they were no longer filled. I did not receive a text message or phone call that this would be happening and I left empty-handed again without the medicines I need. I will be transferring all of my scripts to a pharmacy that is farther away so that I can make use of reliable service and their drive-thru.

Since Walgreens cut hours to the pharmacy, this is becoming just a mediocre convenience store. M-F, 9 - 6 was the norm 50 years ago but these limited operating hours do not serve our community well.

If I could rate no stars, I would. Vaccine appointment at 12:15pm waited an hour then told to come back at 3pm. Waited another 30 mins and left. This pharmacy is very unorganized and rude. Printed form from the online appointment and was rudely told wrong form. Kindness goes a long way AND keeping the customer informed on what is going on. No excuse for rudeness, ever. Went to CVVS, pleasant and efficient.

Pharmacy pick-up at this location is so painful that it's on a par with DMV. Untrained associates stumble around with a system they don't understand while customers stack up in line. Fifteen minute wait with just one person in front of me for a simple pick-up. Even worse, this is not a one-off. It's the norm. Frankly, I bear some responsibility here. I should never have kept going back for this wretched treatment to a place that so thoroughly craps on its customers. Today that ends, and they've lost my prescription business for good.

Today I had one prescription, and I was told that it would be a 25 min wait per annika, who seemed not to have a problwm with my waiting. 45 mins later, I'm still waiting while the floater pharmacist Kate left the back to give shots to several people. once script was finally ready, my head was down because I was typing this message. A young lady said she's ready for you. Annika with no name tag stated that she said your address. How was I supposed to know that she was speaking to me prior to the young lady making me aware. There are a lot of people here so Annika could have been speaking to anyone. She didn't say excuse me Ms Lark

The pharmacy staff at this location is the pits. Seems like no one knows what they are doing. They repeatedly ask you to call back because they are “busy” only to tell you to call back the next day to speak to manager. No one seems to be able to answer insurance questions. Go to another location!!

Hmm.. seems to be a trend with this Walgreens & their Pharmacy. I was "greeted" by Nicole over the phone, whom was speaking to James, the head pharmacist, while I was trying to figure out why they couldn't help me. I decided to try this location one more time, because of convenience, but they wont except the Good RX or any "discount card" for that matter because I did not create a good "rapport" with them in the past 2 years. Which, I had, but again, I guess not. Anyways, the price jumped from $300+ where I would usually get it from another store for only $84... Um... what? Oh, that's also without insurance. Just the attitude on Nicole was a turn off, but again, decided to continue, but not at that price. She suggested I find somewhere else, or go back to the other location if I didn't want to pay that. But I guess its frowned upon to not have insurance since she literally asked, "How do you plan on paying for this?" Um... with money? Was that really a necessary question to ask? No. But the tone changed when I asked for her name & her supervisors... changed real quick. But, yet again, here we are. Sad thing is, I doubt Walgreens uses these as learning tools to help their employees, but I do hope anyone who reads these will heed these words and steer clear.

This pharmacy is awful the people are rude and extremely short with you and it seems like they get annoyed if you ask questions. I live a street block away from there and still drive 15 mins to avoid it.

I am a person who gives second, third, and fourth chances to most individuals and businesses. However, I am completely done with this pharmacy. I do like the employees in the store itself and it is decent and very convenient. I have been purchasing prescriptions here for 16 years, with three of my meds remaining the same throughout this time period. I cannot even begin to count the many, many times(even though a refill is up for processing), that my medicines are not in stock...EVEN THOUGH I've been a customer for 16 years! Tonight was the breaking point for us. A prescription that I get every three months for this entire time period... was not in stock. So, not surprised, I waited the few days it usually takes for it to come in. These days pass....no phone call, no text, nothing. My husband stops to pick it up and the pharmacist says,"Oh, it 's in stock, but it's not ready." Um.....it's NOT READY? After 5 days......it's not ready...okay, sure, that makes perfect sense. This pharmacy is a disgrace and I never wish to have to say this, but after 16 years, I've earned the right. Please take your prescriptions elsewhere. Give your business to an establishment that deserves it.

Walgreen's Corp I would like to notify you regarding one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to in my life. Her name is Naa Norremo, pharmacy @ store#11049, located @ 802 Philadelphia Pike, Wilmington, DE 19809. I am a disabled & chronically ill woman & do not need someone getting me so upset in my condition not only tonight but yest as well. I literally had my health insurance representative call, however, she luckily spoke with someone else there. The ins rep, Carmen, who was not only friendly, pleasant & went above & beyond her duties advised the other pharmacy rep who was polite, friendly & competent of the BIN # which is not on the card as well as advising that she had to use the Medicaid policy # with the eligibility date of 8/1/19. Naa was rude even at the very beginning of the phone call, constantly talking over me & when I advised her that I couldn't listen to what she was saying while I was speaking she replied that I was being rude! She continued to constantly interrupt me while I was speaking. She first asked for a BIN# which I explained to her that there was not a BIN # listed on my AmeriHealth Carnitas Insurance card. She said that I would have to bring the card into the store which basically implied that I couldn't read the info on the card which completely offended me & I advised her that I can indeed read English (I have a BS from U of DE). After giving her all the information from my insurance card she then again insisted that I bring in the card even after I advised her of all the pertinent info on the card being the only two policy numbers. I was flabbergasted that she insinuated that I could not read the info correctly on my card! Not only was she absolutely disrespectful & extremely rude but also incompetent as well! I returned to my childhood home back from NJ where I only used CVS & never ever had a problem. Every single CVS employee in there stores were totally pleasant, competent & would go the extra mile! My parents have been very loyal customers of this store since it first opened. My mother (may she RIP) was also very chronically disabled & had numerous Rx's over the years until her untimely death 10/14/15 filled at the Walgreen's location. I was going to simply change my store to a DE CVS, however, for convenience I decided to transfer all my prescriptions to Walgreen's since it's 0.7 miles from my home. Several days ago I transferred all my prescriptions to this store via the Walgreen's mobile app whereby I scanned each prescription as instructed. When I went on the app today to find out if all my prescriptions were ready I find out that all the Rx's that I had scanned did not appear but Rx's from 12/18 were the only Rx's shown! Two of those Rx's only had a two week supply versus a month which would make no sense in refilling them. I then rescanned all my current Rx's that had several refills, yet two of the Rx's that I had initially scanned I no longer had the bottles bc I thought that I would no longer require them since I had already scanned them as transfers to Walgreen's. After Naa hung up on me tonight I called the store again & asked her for the correct spelling if her first & last name she then did not give me that info so I asked to speak with the manager. Sue France, night shift lead, was pleasant & gracious enough to give me the info I had previously asked Naa for & advised her that I was going to contact corporate. After relaying Sue of the situation & Naa's horrible lack of customer service she also told me that the store manager, Mark, would be in tomorrow morning as well as herself & would tell him about the terrible experience that I had with Naa & that I would be contacting him tomorrow. Since being verbally insulted & assaulted & hung up on by Naa Norremo tw

Well, all I can say is that the pharmacist who was running the place for the last 48 hours really needs to develop some communication skills. The first encounter there was a small problem with updates on my prescription benefits which was no big deal; I called for the information later. I mentioned that this was new as I never received a card ever in my 25 years of employment and I was told "everyone receives a card". Ok, so I thought maybe it was just me and I obtained the information and unfortunately the numbers were wrong. So, I called back again and the pharmacist said "do you have the right numbers this time?" and then I realized it was not me it was her. I thought at first maybe I made a mistake in my communication but after this it was obvious that the problem was not with me. I mean everyone makes mistakes but there is no way I am coming back there because why deal with miserable people? I mean, I have my days too but I do not like walking away from a store feeling stupid. It actually slipped out of my mouth as I walked away and I do not think anyone heard me but I said "Never again will I come here". I do not have anything against the company but based on the totality of the circumstances I will not go back there. People vote with their feet all the time and I am in this instance. Have a good day
